The first date I had scheduled to have the repair on my ac system turned out to be no good for me, and still they were able to reschedule the repair conveniently for the next day afterI was impressed with how well they dealt with my claim

Over last weekend my husband had noticed that he heard a shaking sound in the vents in the ceilingAfter we went through setting up the whole claim we found out that it was the ducting that neeeded to be reattachedSecure home was very helpful with getting things resolved asap
I live in Indiana and managed properties in the state, what shocked me about Secure was that they were willing to work with all of my properties regardless of the different tenants that rent outThe claims work as follows: my tenant calls Secure if they come across any problems in the house/unit if it's a big repair then Secure reaches out to me to see what the best option isBut for small claims like a faucet fix or a microwave fix I don have to get involved and am covered which saves me a lot of timeWe have great understanding and plan to continue this good relationship with Secure
This will be my 2nd claim, today the contractor came by to start the work on the water pump system in my house. The contractor so far is real kind and just has to return tomorrow with a new part to install, & will be on his way. Most importantly phone rep was actually decent. Sincere warranty service
This company was a waste of time and money. We purchased the plan for our new home in May of 2016. In July of 2016 we started having issues with our A/C and finally it stopped working. We called Secure Home Warranty to make our first claim and was told that they would get a technician out right away because it was hot and they classify that as an emergency, and that in the next hour we would recieve a phone call to let us know that it was assigned to a technician...12 hours later still no call back. Called them back to ask what was going on they had no claim assigned to the policy and would have to start over. Needless to say we hired our own A/C guy paid out of our pockets and got the issue fixed within 2 hours of calling them back. The second attempt to make a claim was due to a broken pipe that required us to shut off all the water in our home until it was fixed. Called at approximately 11 pm, they said it was classified as an emergency and that someone would get in contact with me within the next few hours to confirm an appointment. 8 hours later...still no call. Called them back they said it was in processing and that someone would call. To save you and I time this went on for over 48 hours. The final call, they said they weren't even showing a claim. I lost my marbles and cancelled the policy. In our contract it says that we can cancel at anytime and the cancellation fee would be waived. They didn't want to waive the fee. After much argument they finally said they would refund the fee, the rep never apologized and was very disrespectful. They are supposed to be sending a check for the refund so we will see how that goes. But please....DO NOT waste your time and money on these people. It was a good deal that was obviously to good to be true. Very unprofessional and not worth it.
