Secured Financial Solutions Reviews (4)

Maybe they are a great company. An a+ rating on the site but after 14 years of being a Revdex.com member you would think someone would offer up a review, good or bad. So here is my review. Call it a cautionary tale:
it felt like a bait and switch tactic. a mailer about a workshop at a nice restaurant in a group setting. sounded like not much pressure (the bait). So I sign up, then someone from their office called to inquire about my financial and personal particulars (annuities, ira, roth, broker, age, retired, etc) and to inform me I must be at the workshop by 3:30 and plan to stay till 6. it felt like they were giving me a moment to say that is a long time to spend (maybe here they would offer up an individual meeting instead) but I said I will be there.
then received a call back in less than 10 minutes telling me I was not suitable for the workshop but instead they wanted to set up an individual meeting for me with a financial adviser (the switch).
to me this felt like an opportunity for them to separate me from the herd which after answering their financial and personal questions felt like more pressure.
good luck with what you may decide.

In response to the review posted on 2/12/2016, Secured Financial Solutions never met in person with this consumer. Our interaction started once in 2013 when this consumer tried to attend one of our seminars and asked if he could bring his dad who was just visiting Arizona as his guest. We explained on the phone that on the invitation that this consumer received stated that this seminar is for serious and motivated investors. Since his dad was not a resident of Arizona, we explained they would not be a good fit to attend the seminar at that time. There was no interaction until February of 2015 when this consumer registered again to attend the seminar. Our records show that the consumer called in to attempt to qualify and confirm the reservation and when we started asking our qualifying questions, the consumer became annoyed and started responding with perceived attitude to our team member. We ask these general qualifying questions to simply prepare the speaker for important topics that should be covered in the workshop and to attempt to understand if the consumer is genuinely interested in attending the seminar. Dollar amounts of investments owned is never asked as a qualification. We have found that when asking these basic qualifying questions allows the speaker to give the best presentation possible to the consumers. We even ask if they are happy with their current advisor and if they say “yes”, then out of respect and good faith, we ask them to continue to work with their current advisor. There is zero pressure to attend this seminar. There is no bait and switch occurring. If consumers cannot answer the basic qualifying questions, then we still offer a 1 on 1 complimentary strategy session to discuss the client’s goals. This consumer was offered the 1 on 1 complimentary strategy session and declined that offer.
