Security Life Insurance Co. of America

Review: Security Life has failed to pay a claim that they are responsible. The service for my daughter was from a in-network provider. The services in the agreement stated they would be covered under the agreement. They are claiming because the provider didn't use the cheapest filling material( which their in-network provider doesn't even offer) that we are responsible for the difference. We have waited six months paying premiums to Security Life so we could get our daughters cavities filled and now they are refusing to pay the agreed upon 80%. I tried to get in touch with the call center [redacted] and she was very unhelpful and said to send my claim to some PO Box and they would send their decision by mail. Really what they are saying is were going to make it so hard to get this resolved, that you will give up and we wont have to pay what we agreed upon Claim# [redacted]Desired Settlement: They need to pay for the portion of the claim they agreed upon
