I am writing this complaint regarding a car part that I ordered from Sedley Auto Partson April 24th 2018 for $294.15. The part arrived at my mechanics shop *** who has had done business with the Sedley guy previously, the part was incorrect and was therefore shipped back to Sedley Auto Parts on May 18th 2018. It has been 4 months since the part has been returned and I have not received any form of payment back there have been multiple phone calls with him where he says he will do it "tomorrow" or the next day but he has done nothing about this yet I have text messages with him as well.
I would like a refund from Sedley Auto of the amount they owe me for the returned part.
Received call from *** of Sedley Auto Parts, he stated that he is willing to refund the consumer but feels it's fair that they pay for the shipping as well as the missing module that was on the fan.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm willing to pay shipment charges but there was never a module to begin with, which he told me upon order. *** dealt with the sedley autobody guy and the Part was incorrect so therefore I returned it and now he is claiming there was a module missing. I don't accept this because I never removed a module it was sent back as is.
Business states they already refunded the consumer $200 in October so this matter is resolved.
