Review: The business charged me a non-insurance out-of-pocket fee of $42 stating my insurance allotment had been expended. When I contacted my insurance company to confirm, I had learned that the merchant had also submitted a back-claim to the insurance for the same visit. I should be entitled to receive my $42. back since they have been paid by my insurance and by me for the same day service. I have attempted contact w/ the merchant requesting the refund but my calls and emails are unanswered.My insurance allows 15 visits per contract year but the merchant conveyed that each visit counts as 2 claims rather than 1. They did not bill the insurance for 2 visits each time but I was mislead with completely inaccurate information and had to pay non-insurance out of pockets fees.Desired Settlement: I would like the $42. refunded as well as the insurance claim revoked since the merchants submission has short-changed me a treatment for another chiropractor.
