I am rejecting this response because: Please note response from *** I really am at a lostWe were promised a lot more services then we received from Mr *** Again for $we paid him I don't see why we had to chase him for services I don't know what fee he paid the ***, but anything above that (his profit) I feel certainly was swindled from us *** has been far more helpful, at least I know the *** was filed, and she took time to explain thingsAgain I feel like I keep saying the same things, yes I had meetings with Mr ***, all were geared form getting my financial info and talking to me about whole life policies (not college planning) and "tax free retirement" (not college planning I am not stupid, as Mr *** insinuates I know he is in the financial and insurance business, however I did not hire him for his retirement (remember the book he gave me for "homework") or insurance advise I hired him for college planning based on all the promises he made at the info session I attended at the *** Senior Center As I already stated he told us he had many contacts in schools all over the country He would tell us which schools would except my daughter and what packages she would get, before we even filled out an application This never happened He never even asked us, even after we filled out the info on the website It got to the point I didn't want to cont*** him because of his defensiveness and rudeness, I was afraid he would even file the *** since he didn't fulfill the other promises he made and my daughters college admission would be in jeopardy Again I have all the emails and correspondence with Mr *** and *** .
Hi ***-I just finished evaluating ***mount and your taxes. I have not listened to a voicemail from you yet. I am not sure what is going on?

***,
I am following up on the phone message I left you this morning. I apologize if I seen forward but I am quite upset over this entire matter. Mr *** has continued with the unprofessional, rude comments (as he stated on Revdex.com forms) and has stated the *** and you personally feel the same. He insinuated that I was somehow crazy or mentally ill. I really would appreciate to know your, and the ***, position on this..is it as he stated? I certainly can send you a copy of the messages he left on the Revdex.com forms
Sincerely,
*** ***
Good Morning-
I used the words very frustrating in response to his email. You and I are fine. I am at a loss of words however that I (***) have been put in the middle of the Revdex.com complaints. I honestly was attempting to be empathetic to you and *** as there was a lot of frustration on both sides.
Hope you had a nice weekend

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  There are so many issues.
The most important issue I feel was how mislead I was.  I was told by [redacted] himself he was handling all paperwork, He made the impression he was part of the [redacted], not a go between.  I was never told my daughters [redacted] was being sent out to do, but the [redacted] is the least of the issue.  I to contacted the [redacted], spoke to [redacted], who when I talked to her on February 18th, and forwarded her [redacted]s emails,  was quite sympathetic to my situation.  We spoke at length of the inappropriate and unprofessional nature of [redacted]s emails.  It was then she disclosed to me that [redacted] pay a fee to them and is allowed to charge people whatever he wants, she did not disclose the fee amount to me,  I did pay [redacted] $2800.00 I checked my records.
I then told [redacted] the following:
I did met [redacted] 3 times in my daughters sophomore year , once we rejected his offer to do financial planning and the f[redacted] he gave me homework by reading the tax free retirement book he lost interested in helping us, in f[redacted] said to me that he was not supposed to be doing that.  [redacted] himself told us HE dealt with hundreds of admissions counselors and financial aid counselors and our admission process would be easy   He said he would tell us what schools she would be accepted to before we even applied. I sent numerous emails when my daughter got her [redacted] and [redacted] test results and added info on the web site.  We added the schools she was interested in  on the web site.  We heard nothing. Don't you think in a childs senior year the person you paid a heavy fee to would at least cont[redacted] us.  I had to send an email saying Hey its her senior year ....and still nothing got done, he never asked for a meeting, he never asked what we been working on.    For $2800.00 I didn't think I should be chasing [redacted] for service.  We did receive the standardized emails (mass produced) fro the [redacted], I guess that what [redacted] paid the fee for.  At this point I was so worried he wasn't even going to file the [redacted] form. I understand our form wasn't the only form to file as [redacted] indicates, but I received little to no service from [redacted] as it was and was afraid he was going to fail me yet again.
[redacted] also said she contacted [redacted], and it took a few days for him to get back to her, and he was not going to do anything to make up for his clear negligence.  She also offered her services personally to me and immediately stopped the monthly fee.    These is where I said I would have to cont[redacted] the Revdex.com and she said I should do what I needed to do.
Now I also have copies of all email correspondence and office visits with [redacted], unfortunately I am unable to scan or attach them but am available to send, fax , forward or bring any info to the Revdex.com at anytime.
Bottom line, We were mislead.  [redacted] promised personalized great service and we got nothing except stress.  He has all my financial information and I still worry what he will do with it.  $2800.00 is alot of money (this does not include the $29.00 monthly fee I paid from May 2013 to March 2015) for 1 [redacted] form to be filled out.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: In May 2013 I attended a Free college Financial Planning Night sponsored by SEEC financial along with my mother. In search of help of the college process we decided to meet with [redacted] at SEEC financial. At that meeting we were told of various services that would be included if we decided to sign u with [redacted]. They included filing of the [redacted] form as well of other services listed on a 8*10 sheet of paper. First off I was never told the [redacted] form would not be filled out by him or his office, but sent to a third party the College Planning Network, I only learned this a few months ago. The first couple meetings [redacted] requested all financial records which I sent . He spoke about all the services to come and commended my on starting my daughters college prep early. After receiving my info [redacted] provided "homework" for me. It was to read a book, Tax free Retirement. His interest changed form my daughters college planning to changing my assets over to a whole life policy. I made it clear to [redacted] that I was not interested in his financial services as I have my own financial advisor whom I been working with for years. Since then communication with [redacted] has been one sided , he only responded to my e mails I had to initiate all contact. I have all emails showing this. I paid over $2000 for his service plus a monthly fee of 29.00 since June 2013. I was worried that my daughters [redacted] would not even be filled. I cont[redacted] many times for status, at this point I gave up on all the other services that were promised to me. I am a busy mother and the whole purpose of hiring someone to help with this process was to ease time restraints on myself and felt I was chasing services that I paid for. Once I learned the [redacted] was filed ( I had just been told that the college planning network in [redacted] is the one who actually prepares the [redacted]) I sent email to [redacted] expressing my dissatisfaction. I asked who I could speak to higher then him. I took my own initiative to call the [redacted] in [redacted] directly, I gave them very detailed accounts of how I was treated and what services were promised and not received and forwarded them the emails that I sent to [redacted] and his responses. As they were very upset with the treatment and emails they told me he was an independent contractor and all they could do was cont[redacted] him to see what he could do. Apparently [redacted] pays a one time fee to them (unknown amount to me) and he is free to charge whatever he wants. They were able to stop the $29 monthly fee and agreed I could speak directly to them. As for the services he didn't provide ( I have a complete list) it was a little to late and he wasn't going to refund any money to me. I have copies of all that was promised and not received.Desired Settlement: As my daughter has been accepted in college the services that I paid for useless. The only benefit I got was the filing of the [redacted] form which [redacted] didn't even do.

I believed I paid with a bank check and it was in excess of 2000.00. I will have to go thru my records from 2013 to get ex[redacted] amount

Response:

[redacted] and her mother attended one of our College Planning Workshops, after that she made a appointment to come to my office. She came in with her daughter and we discussed the various services that the College Planning Network could provide to her and her daughter. A list of services was provided and she was referred to The College Planning Network. Her fees were forwarded to [redacted] and [redacted] charged her credit card for her monthly membership fee. [redacted] provides all of the College services including the completion of her [redacted] and [redacted] form if necessary, and [redacted] was fully aware of this as her emails indicate. My office emailed [redacted] for a second visit where her finances were discussed, she brought her mother this time and the meeting took on a totally different tone. In the first meeting with her daughter, she was laughing and joking, very light and enjoyable. With her mother present she was solemn and disconnected. We discussed her financial situation and I provided her with reference material on what assets are included on her [redacted], and what is not. She then informed me that anything financial would have to go through her mother and a financial planner she was working with. That was in 2013 and once she told me she had a planner, I dropped the subject. We had another meeting after that to bring her up to date with what [redacted] was doing to help her in the college process, she brought a male companion this time and the meeting was much better, she was more relaxed and her companion talked about his daughter. After that my role was that of a liaison between [redacted] and [redacted].After [redacted] emailed both [redacted] and her daughter their welcome video, they are constantly in touch providing guidance on all aspects of the college experience. [redacted] did a Scholarship report for her. [redacted] claims that the [redacted] emails were never received and yet none were returned, the emails were sent to both [redacted] and [redacted], her daughter. I was copied and we discussed these emails, so I don't see how she can claim that she never received them. [redacted] contacted me and asked for a status on her [redacted] filing, and indicated that she knew [redacted] was providing this service, not my office. She was told that all of her information was in and her [redacted] would be submitted in the order in which it was received. That seemed to be the issue that set her off, she did not like being told that she was in line. [redacted] works with thousands of families across the country and do a excellent job, the [redacted] and [redacted] forms are never late. The ironic part is that [redacted] does not charge for this service, it is value added along with their package of services. Regarding [redacted] complaint to [redacted], again there is a disconnect. [redacted] told me that she wanted to cancel her account with [redacted], I advised her that she had already paid for their services, and it was not to her benefit to cancel due to a apparent personality conflict with me, and I provided her with a cont[redacted] number at [redacted] so she could work with a different adviser. [redacted] had accused me of being rude, which concerned me so I forwarded to [redacted] the email where she made this accusation and asked if they thought that I was being rude? Their reply was that they did not think I was being rude and that "sometimes we just cannot make a client happy no matter what is done for them" [redacted] has been transferred to another adviser and although [redacted] is still a [redacted] client, her payments have been suspended. the [redacted] services are for both of her children for as long as they are in school with no further payments. I believe [redacted] said she paid $2400, divided by two students, divided by four years of college each equals $300 per year, with all that [redacted] has done and will do, I would say that there is plenty of value there. In closing, I cannot understand how [redacted] can say that she has received nothing when we had no fewer than three meetings, dozens of emails, scholarship reports, college visit checklist, [redacted] filings and seven more years of service ahead of her? I have attached correspondence that you may find helpful. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Sincerely,[redacted]SENIOR ADVISOR[redacted]
