Review: I bought my collectibles to this store when they just beginning to open in july 2012. [redacted] one of the owners told me that she was to give a contract to sign which never happened. I gave her a signed [redacted] print of a cougar, a variety of [redacted] collectibles( different animals)4 place setting of snowman dishes by [redacted], 2 [redacted] faberge snow dove champagne glasses with 6 water goblets and 6 wine goblets. It was approxiately february of 2013 I starting asking for my stuff back . we did through emails. some of those emails are missing one day they were there and now they are gone. For months she keep telling me that she was cleaning out the storage (3 I was told she had) still could not find my stuff. They were put there because my stuff was not moving. Well in Oct of 2013 I finally received my stuff to find some of it missing. I received the 4 place setting of snowman dishes to have one dish missing out of the set. I was missing one of the water goblets. But most important I did not received the print back which is worth approxiately 800.00. I wrote a letter in early decemember requested a the monies to replacement the items missing. Was told that I would get 50.00 because if she was to sell my stuff for about 100.00, 50 would be my share. I cant beleive that she can not find the print it was 18 x 24 approx. She claims that she never had the print but I have several witness that know that I had that print for over 10 years. One of the emails that are missing said that it was given to someone for some reason or other. I have copies of pictures, letters emails etc. If you have any questions please free to call me [redacted]Desired Settlement: What I would like is the monies to replace the items so that I can sell them as a set. I really would like the monies for the print that is missing. The owner feels that she does not have to give me the funds to replace them bit I feel if I lost something or hers should I give her the monies to replace the item. Why is she offering me fifty bucks for something that she does not have. I sent her a cerified letter requesting the monies by the december 15 and did not get a response till January 1

Business

Response:

Ms. [redacted] became a consignor of Sei Bella Boutique on 4/20/2012. A contract was mailed to her home address to sign, however that was never signed and returned. Ms. [redacted] had several holiday collectibles as well as porcelain animals by [redacted] and other makers. Regrettably collectibles like such as not items that maintain or increase in value. Especially in the state of our economy. This was explained to her on several occasions and even at a drastically reduce price, only a few sold. Ms. [redacted] was called to pick up her items several times. In the event of not having these small pieces of porcelain break while we wait for these to be picked up, we removed her items from the retail space to a warehouse space for safe keeping. It was almost seven months later I received calls and text messages from Ms. [redacted] that she is having a garage sale very soon. What was store was returned to Ms. [redacted] with one goblet missing. Days after picking up, Ms. [redacted] informed me that her yard sale was soon and requested a piece of artwork that was not returned. She identified it as “cats”. When that was not located she informed me that it was large, matted in blue and was now a cougar. When that was not located she informed me that it was an original numbered frame art that was signed and worth over $800.00. Our consignment boutique had never had such art work nor was I able to locate that in the warehouse/stored items. Ms. [redacted] was unable to provide me with an intake sheet that we provide to customers when they leave items for consignment. I also requested a copy of the receipt from her purchase of this collectible art so that I could identify it. Ms. [redacted] stated that she had no paperwork as the item belonged to her former husband who left it behind. She was demanding that I pay her the value of the art work, over $800.00. I told her that we would not do that, however I realized that we were short one goblet that was [redacted] and trying to be fair about this, I would be offer her $50 to settle this account. She never responded. Thank you. [redacted]
