This company does not specify when they will send tickets until after you purchase them. They will not ship tickets until a week before the event, even if it is a national event that requires travel. At best you will get them 5 days before an event if there are any shipping delays you are completely hosed. You will have no ability to know the actual seats you have purchased only a general vague category. They will not refund or cancel; if you email, call and wait for a return call they will offer to let you cancel but charge you 25% of the cost. In my case that was a $250 charge to cancel. After you have paid, they will require you to give them sensitive information like a photo copy of your drivers license and your credit card. But, they will easily send your tickets to some other location without asking you any information or security to ensure that you are the actual purchaser.

I purchased two tickets from selectAticket for the Headley concert in Kelowna BC. these tickets cost me $453 . When I received the tickets it states right on the ticket that the tickets are $64.50 each not $207 (plus applicable taxes) each.

I called to ask why the difference, and I was called a [redacted] and the lady YELLED at me and then HUNG up the phone. I have tried to call back numerous times and they say they will not talk with me.

It states right on their website that if we are not 100 % satified they will return our money, yet every time I ask to have my money refunded they say NO!!!!

I called my credit card company (mastercard) and they tell me that the tickets are good, and the only way they will refund my money is if I can get SelectYourticket to say that they are not their tickets, (they did not sell them to me) then they will refund me the money. However selectYourticket says it is against their policy.

My girlfriend purchased these tickets online at selectAticket, not selectYourticket since she had the credit card. However in saying this my girlfriend is mentally slow, she is disabled, and didnt understand what she was doing when she purchased the tickets from the wrong company.

I am unable to afford the $453 for bogus tickets. I have thrown $453 out the window cause I am not able to get this company selectAticket to return the money owing to me.

I do not think this is fair especially when it states on the website selectAticket.com that they will refund my money.

I have never purchased anything online, and after this I will never again purchase anything on line as I can not affford to throw my money away and get nothing in return.

selectYourticket says that the ticket is good only to the first person that comes in and gets their ticket scanned.

The selectAticket is just a photocopied piece of paper and there are at least 4 of them I was told that have been printed already. so if we do not get to be 1st in line we do not get a seatDesired Settlement: I would like to have my money refunded to me $421.50 Canadian funds, or $453 US funds, for the company selectAticket to honor there word, as it states on their website. for they sold me bogus tickets.

Review: I bought ACC tickets for [redacted] from this company. The face value per ticket was $45, I paid $88 per ticket. On the back of each ticket, it says that "this ticket may not be sold for more than $3 above face value". I called the company, and the person I spoke to said they had to buy the tickets, and that is why the prices are higher. When I told him what the back of the ticket said, he replied that he does not live in the state of ** so he did not know about that.

Review: On March 7 I purchased ticked from Select A Ticket for a [redacted] event in [redacted]. The event was at the [redacted] on May 2. I purchased three tickets in the balcony for $78 each plus fees for a total of $307.

I subsequently learned that tickets in that section cost about $34.00. We were in the second to last row and because of the size of the theater, could not hear or see very well. There were no large screens for viewing.

It is unethical to sell tickets for more than twice their face value.

Review: I purchased 2 tickets from this company for section 135 row 1 for 51.00 a ticket when the tickets came they were completely different then what we ordered and cheaper then what we paid for. When we called we were told that those seats should have never been on the site to purchase told them that wasn't our problem we wanted our tickets I sent those tickets back and they sent us new tickets again not what we wanted and again for much cheaper then what we paid. I called told them I was returning tickets and wanted a full refund within 15 days. Was told fine by [redacted]. returned tickets by FED-EX got proof they received the tickets back and still have not had my money refunded. Now I would like to receive double the amount back I paid since they have a 200% quarentee per their website. I have given them more then enough time to refund me the original amount.Desired Settlement: Would like to received my original amount back of $150.72 plus shipping charges of $20.00, and since they guarantee 200% I would like double the amount back.

Review: ON SAT 11/29/14 I ORDERED 2 TICKETS TO SEE A CONCERT IN NYC, I HAPPENED TO HIT THE WRONG DATE SO I CALL THE PH# PROVIDED AND TOLD THEM THAT I SHOULD HAVE CHOSEN FRI 01/23/15 INSTEAD OF SAT 01/24/15,ALL I WANTED TO DO IS SWITCH THE DATE FROM THE 24TH TO THE 23RD,I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT DO THAT AND THE SALE WAS FINAL,THEY ALSO SAID THEY WOULD TRY TO SELL THE TICKAETS FOR ME. I TOLD THEM THAT ,THESE TIX ARE A GIFT AND I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY ANOTHER 2 TIX [$ 362.00] ALL I WANT TO DO IS SWITCH THE DATE ,NO HELP FROM THEM .....PLZ SEE WAHT COULD BE DONE .....THESE TIX WERE ORDERED ALMOST 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE !!!

I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A SIMPLE SWITCH,SINCE I ORDERED THEM SO FAR IN ADVANCE ,WHEN I LOOKED AT THE SEATS AVAILABLE ,THERE WAS MANY OPEN!!!

Review: I wanted to order tickets for my mom's birthday for a [redacted] concert so I went to [redacted] Performing Arts Center website and found 2 tickets left for a concert in March. They were more than I wanted to spend but I bought them anyways and spent $130 per ticket (purchased 2 tickets). 3 days later I received a [redacted] package with tickets in it that showed price of $69. I called [redacted] directly and asked why I had been so overcharged. It was at that point that I realized I had somehow bought thru a scalper. [redacted] said it has been happening often and they don't know how since it is illegal. They were nice enough to put tickets on hold for me that truly were $69 and much better seats while I disputed with my credit card. I still cannot figure out how this happened since I was on mayo's secure site and got sent to another website somehow without my knowledge. Fist I called [redacted] in Riverdale and explained the situation and asked for a refund since had bought only 2 days ago and he had til March to sell the tix. He was extremely rude and said no way, all sales are final. I tried to explain that I didn't even realize I was purchasing from an outside vendor. He didn't care. I then opened a dispute with my credit card co. After 2 days they called me back and said they also had spoken to [redacted] and that they see he has many complaints on Revdex.com but that he said he has proper disclaimer in place which states "We buy and sell tickets at market prices which may be higher or lower than face value based on market conditions." I don't understand how this is legal since that statement was on the receipt in the [redacted] package which I obviously received after already purchasing the tickets.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund from this company. They have purposely set themselves up to fool the customer who doesn't even realize they are buying anyone other than the site they went on. When you google this company the list of complaints are endless. They do this for bigger places like madison square garden, as well and everyone's complaint is the same - never even knew they were no longer on a secure site. I would like a refund so that I can buy tickets from [redacted] directly like I had thought I was doing. They have plenty of tickets left for much less and much better seats. [redacted] explained that these seats I bought thru [redacted] are like the worst seats in the house. Also he charged me $53.76 in service fees as opposed to the $6 [redacted] would have charged me! I also apparently paid $15 in shipping for the tix I didn't even know I was being charged for. Whether or not this company is operating legally based on whatever disclosures they are claim to have they should be shut down. It's a scam
