Review: On 2/17/14 I had selectGP create a print order that included business cards and a trifold for my business. They agreed to print my files. On 2/18/14 I went back to approve the print order. The gentleman at the counter ([redacted]) provided me with a really good sample of the trifold that looked crisp and exactly what I had asked for. I happily paid the man in cash accepting the great quality of the order. A week later, when I Picked up the order there were several unacceptable differences on the trifold's Discrepancies: 1) The ENTIRE font on the Finished product was 100% different from the one approved according to the file submitted and the pre-approved sample. 2) The format and spacing on entire finished product was changed and nothing like the file submitted and the pre-approved sample. 3) 3 out of the 5 pictures on the trifold were extremely pixelated and were nothing compared to the pre-approved printed sample. On Wednesday, February 26, 2014 and feb 28th I composed an email to Select GP requesting that they resolve an issue involving the discrepancies and they refused fault. I have the sample and the finished production in hand. They are completely different from each other the sample looks excellent and the finished product looks unpresentable. I am very disappointed with the bait and switch and I would never recommend this business to anyone!Desired Settlement: My desired outcome of this whole situation is to have the trifold's printed correctly or to have the company refund the $190.00 + tax that was paid for the trifold's.

I'm so sorry that the brochure did not turn out the way you would have liked it too. We understand the importance of a high-quality printed brochure.

It's normal to want to setup the file yourself instead of using a professional graphic designer, but submitting the file for print means assuming responsibility for any errors on the file, including resolution and alignment. We work very hard to create resources and layout templates for our customers, and we require your cooperation to submit a high-quality file to have high-quality printing. If the printing was poor quality, ALL text and images would be low-quality and we would certainly take responsibility for that. However, when we look at your printed brochure, there is a crisp, sharp image and there is a fuzzy, pixelated image. This is because the fuzzy image is low resolution (below 300dpi), often caused by taking images off the web (72dpi only).

Due to the error on the file, more material and labor will be needed to reproduce this job. Since we do appreciate your business, we would like to share the burden with you and extend a courtesy discount of 25% for a re-order.
