I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I am not happy with paying more money to Select Living Management but I don't have the time or energy to fight them I will say this, when my husband called Select Living Management before we moved out the Assistant in the office told my husband they would be replacing the carpetSo basically I am paying $for new carpetIf the Manager at Select Living remembers when we moved in we called complaining about the dirty carpet in the house the only carpet that was replaced was in the two bedrooms!! Select Living Management is a ripoff, and the Manager is a nasty bully!! If you google Select Living Management you will see all the complaints people have had with them and they all say the same thing about the Manager, she is rude, nasty and disrespectful to her tenants!! Also they can't get anyone to rent the place we were in!! I'm so glad I'm out of there!! By the way I have a receipt from a cleaning lady I hired to clean that place before we moved out and I have a copy of the cancelled check Select Living Management can send me a bill for the $they wantI will pay them after ChristmasIf they don't like it they can take me to court. November 9th, 2016Dear *** ***,I received your letter dated October 31, which arrived in my office on November 3, I am writing to you regarding the complaint filed against Select LivingI have attached a copy of the rental closing statement provided at the time of move-in
Please note that the security deposit we requested was $Last month's rent of $was applied to September rentI have enclosed a copy of the tenant's intent to terminate letter and our response. Their termination did not adhere to the lease termsIn addition they did not pay August rent and a Landlord/Tenant Complaint was filed to collect the monies owedThe August rent was finally collectedRegarding the carpet; as per lease terms, it was to be professionally cleaned-but no receipt was providedI have pictures of the carpet that show the condition it was in on the day after they vacated the propertyRegarding power washing, as per the terms of the lease the tenant is responsible for $of any repair.The Owner of the property feels the charges justified and will close the file if the tenant agrees to pay $of the balance dueThe property owner will also agree not to proceed with any legal action.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely,Connie M
