Mr [redacted] brought in his Audi [redacted] on 11/11/to our dealership with 33,miles on his vehicle [redacted] bought this car from another party and requested that we perform a used vehicle recondition inspection (see repair order #attached)Our technician performed a mechanical inspection and checked the computer system for any stored faultsAttached is brake and tire informationHis vehicle had a small engine oil leak that we corrected and noted that the controls for the radio and main computer had a button sticking that didn't appear to be a problem at that time (there are circuit boards under the buttons and if something is spilled it can damage the electronics underneath them) and the customer was verbally told about the concern alsoThe customer called a couple of hours after he left to let us know the radio has no soundThe vehicle was driven miles since we first inspected itWhen we inspected the vehicle at no charge for the customer (since he came back the same day), the technician was not able to establish communication with the DSP module/amplifier (see repair order #attached)The exact failure is unknown, it is a computer component, the failure is an internal electronic issueCustomer was advised to replace the module and was quoted $1727.00+tx ($part, $230.00+tx labor)We then offered a 15% discount for customer satisfaction that brought the total to $1467.95+txThe customer declined all additional repairsWe are sorry for [redacted] problems with his radio not working, but there was nothing done to his radio during the used car inspectionNo repairs were performed except to an oil leak repair that we did not charge forAs a final goodwill gesture towards [redacted] ***'s vehicle, we will not charge any labor for installing the new DSP radio/amplifier and we will discount the part 25%Final charges will be $1122.19+txThat is a discount of $from the original estimateWe will still advise [redacted] of the concern we have to the radio controls having something spilled onto the electronics and having no idea if any other electronic components may still have future issues/problems as a result of the condition of said componentsThank you, [redacted] Service Manager [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,I've attached information hoping to clarify the situation. The management has a full detailed record of my rental and payment history. I asked for a print out and was denied at the time of the deposit return at the hostel itself where the rent is paid. I also asked for a copy of the rental agreement but was also denied that information. I've attached their email correspondence, The agreement itself is a set of house rules mainly, and doesn't reflect any discounts and amount of rent to be paid. But I do have bank records and physical receipts  to prove all money transactions. I can attempt to forward in next couple of days. I'm guessing because all tenants pay different amounts. I'm not exactly sure to be truthful. The date on signed agreement is 11/22/2013. I've also attached our notice to vacate after meetings in person with the owner and Zachary to attempt to resolve this issue and several others occurring on this property that has no onsite management. Also attached, their online website advertisement dated February of this year, that reflects monthly rates. But I've never been successful at acquiring this rate. I had  copied the ad at the time to debate the issue with management and was told by staff that it would be looked into. I've always gotten the run around when asking for this 5% or any discount for that matter. When a vacancy at the Cleghorn residence is open, they run the Craigslist ad, but it is promptly deleted when rented, so it's always been difficult to prove to them without time stamped proof. I will continue to provide more evidence as soon as possible to resolve this matter. Thank you for your assistance, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I've lived at hokondo management/Waikiki beachside Hostel's property for approximately 2 years. I've asked several times for this discount of 5% rent reduction and have been refused every time. I was contacted and offered a discount for 3 months only. I was also asked to keep this matter private. I don't accept this as a proper resolution or compensation. I do hope you can help to continue mediate this matter on my behalf. I've experienced nothing but dishonest and disrespectful behavior from both Orlena Wong and Zachary M[redacted] at meetings in person, trying to resolve other matters concerning the property I resided at that they refuse to have onsite management at. I've tried to resolve matters for months via email and meetings in person with these individuals. They have proven to be uncooperative and dishonest. So for that reason, I feel I need an outside influence to assist me in this matter. I am willing to resolve this issue as soon as possible and hopefully a resolution and an apology can be the end result. I can provide additional email correspondence between myself and Zachary, if it is admissible.

Customer was advised to replace the module and was quoted $1727.00+tx ($1496.25 part, $230.00+tx labor). We then offered a 15% discount for customer satisfaction that brought the total to $1467.95+tx. The customer declined all additional repairs. We are sorry for [redacted] problems with his radio not working, but there was nothing done to his radio during the used car inspection. No repairs were performed except to an oil leak repair that we did not charge for. As a final goodwill gesture towards [redacted]'s vehicle, we will not charge any labor for installing the new DSP radio/amplifier and we will discount the part 25%. Final charges will be $1122.19+tx. That is a discount of $504.06 from the original estimate.
