Review: I paid [redacted] dba Select One Construction $3600.00 in cash in installments for a roofing job. When the joint check from the insurance company arrived, he deposited it into his business account, promising to reimburse me. I held his check for seven business days. When I tried to cash it, the funds had become unavailable. He apologized to me, stating that he would meet with me and pay me in cash. For the past two weeks he has refused to answer his telephone and will not respond to any of my messages.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the $3600.00 I paid in cash to [redacted] of Select One Construction for a roofing job. I have a copy of the $3600.00 joint check from the insurance company which he deposited as well as a copy of his business check made out to me for that amount which bounced.
