ITS IN THE CONTRACT HAND WRITTEN BY HIM2ND WHEN MR [redacted] CAME TO TAKE DOWN THE 2ND DISH HE SAID HE WOULD TRY TO FIND A ROOFER TO BRING WITH HIM TO TAKE IT OFF...LIE...HE BROUGHT A SALESMAN HE JUST RECENTLY HIRED..NOT A ROOFER...WHEN I GOT ON THE ROOF AFTER THEY LEFT..THEY DID NOT PATCH THE HOLES LEFT BY ADDING ADDITIONAL SHINGLES..NO..THEY JUST PUMPED THE HOLES FULL OF PUTTY AND LEFT IT...THEN PROCEEDED TO RIP THE WIRES TO THE DISH OFF THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE AND LEAVING ALL THE ATTACHING CLIPS STILL IN THE SIDING RIGHT WHERE THEY WERE.!! 3RD I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT MOST OF MR [redacted] CREWS ARE MADE UP OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL IN THE WAY THEY DO THINGSTWICE I HAD TO REMIND THE ROOFER THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO PUT UP NEW TAR PAPER UNDER THE NEW SHINGLES...THEY THREW A FIT AND FINALLY DID IT..IT IS A FACT MR [redacted] THAT ONE OF THE CREW YOU EMPLOYED TO DO MY ROOF DID STEAL FROM MEI TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS AND YOU BRUSHED IT OFF4TH THE CONTRACT STATES AS FAR AS THE FENCE...IT IS TO BE "POWER/CHEMICAL" WASHED AND STAINED....THE CREW YOU SENT TO DO THE JOB BY MR [redacted] DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO DO THE JOB..THEY PLANNED ON JUST POWER WASHING THEN STAINING THE FENCE...I DID THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO HAVE THEM DO A JOB NOT MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE INSURANCE COAND MY MORTGAGE CO5TH AS FAR AS THE MONEY,, AFTER THE ROOF WAS FINISHED I DID NOT HEAR A WORD OR EVEN GET A TEXT SAYING HE WOULD BE BY TO PICK UP THE CHECK HE KNEW I HAD WAITING FOR HIM...HE LIED AGAINYES THE MORTGAGE CO TOLD ME NOT TO GIVE THE MONEY OUT FOR THE ROOF BECAUSE THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF ROOFING FRAUD IN OUR AREA....AS YOU SEE NOW..ITS A GOOD THING THEY DO IT THIS WAY6TH AS FAR AS PHONE CALLS YES I DID USE TEXT TO PRIMARILY CONTACT MR [redacted] BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT EVEN ANSWER HIS PHONE...I EVEN CALLED THE SELECT ROOFING OFFICE PHONE TIMES AND WAS TOLD THAT A SUPERVISOR WOULD CALL ME BACK WITHIN THE HOUR..IT DID NOT HAPPEN...ALSO...MY MORTGAGE COCALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND GOT THE SAME RESPONSE EACH TIME....SO SOMETHING SEEMS KINDA FUNNY HERE TO MEMY SUGGESTION TO MR [redacted] AND TO SELECT ROOFING IS TO FIND ANOTHER AREA OF BUSINESS TO WORK IN BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL NOT PUT UP WITH THIS AT LEAST NOT IN THIS NEIGHBOR HOOD [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Select Roofing had filed a supplemental claim with my insurance company for work that was not contracted and performed; and merchandise and labor costs related to items that were not delivered Their representative insisted they were filing the supplemental claim to 'find me more money' and 'to get what was due me' without acknowledging the fact that the contact that I signed had a line that said 100% of the supplmental claim check should go to the contractor or I would risk losing my home I do not want to be part of this unethical scheme and I hope Revdex.com would consider the consumers' interest too I cannot trust anything Select Roofing said and sent out That company did not even obtain a building permit for this job and my local authority told me I would have trouble selling my house with a new roof since the town had neither inspected nor a record of a new roof Regards, [redacted] ***

A roof replacement average is between 1-daysSelect Roofing did not trash her property, we take pride in our workWe replaced the broken skylight that we accidentally damaged during the installation of the roof; we replaced the skylight the following dayWe gave her a credit on the final bill
towards the broken sprinkler head.The owner of the company personally met the roof inspectorUpon inspection, there was no damaged roofing components foundThe inspector pointed out a few cosmetic items on the roof that we replaced/repaired in a timely mannerThe inspector did not find any leaks due to the new roofing system that was installedThe owner of Select Roofing inspected the small stain on the ceiling with the homeowner's friendSelect Roofing's owner's professional opinion is that the stain was not caused by the new roofing system we installed; we believe that the stain was on the ceiling prior to the installationWe agreed to credit the homeowner $for the roofing inspection feeOur professional opinion to repair the small stains would have cost a maximum of $The homeowner was not happy with our initial offer so we agreed to credit an additional $towards the paint to appease the customerHomeowner had a balance of $before any credits or deductionsThe total credits given to the homeowner was $1235.00, bringing the total due to $

I am rejecting this response because: The Select Roofing painters left behind droplets on the window above the front door The painter I hired cleaned that up The fact that I have to file a formal complaint to get the work completed is unacceptable Painters asked for the paint they left behind in the yard when they showed up for the 3- minute job! Gutter was replaced on 10/. Other related issues ( added on 09/are still unresolved: a invoice - received a phone message from Select Roofing on 09/saying the company was not scamming my insurance coand I should anticipate a call from my insurance co On 10/07, I was informed by my insurance agent that Select Roofing had filed a supplementary claim and he needed my permission to discuss my case with Select Roofing I mentioned I had paid extra to up-grade my roof. I still have not received a detail invoice. b screen fabric is still smashed; not replaced.

This is from *** ***, project manager for this job:There is NO contract dispute Select Roofing will COMPLETE the job we’ve been contracted to complete The homeowner/customer does not call my phone or email me The customer only texts my cell phone (his preference) for
communication I have texts on my phone beginning on 4/and ending on 7/ I’ve text customer when sub-contractors are scheduled to work on his home The customer knows the schedule is “weather dependent” The customer made it very clear that we are not to schedule trades until he has the check in hand from his mortgage company His mortgage company is releasing funds in stages He agreed to give me a check for payment of the roof ($14,161.56) once material dropped and the roofing crew started work He kept texting me “when are we going to wrap this up” (whole contract) I told him I needed to pithe 1st check so the mortgage company would release more funds He said his mortgage company released a “small” check because Select Roofing hadn’t cashed the 1st check I told customer that Select Roofing couldn’t cash a check that you’ve never given to us He then said the mortgage company told him not to give me the check until the roof is complete I asked him what wasn’t completed and he said the roofing crew only removed of satellite dishes This is NOT on our contract to remove the satellite dishes As a courtesy, I immediately drove to his house and removed the 2nd satellite dish The customer gave me a check ($10,416.88) weeks after installing the roofThe check was short $3,but I agreed to schedule additional trades He asked me if I was calling his mortgage company to have them release more funds I informed the customer that he needed to call his mortgage company and request additional funds for the next stage I sent our fence staining sub-contractor to power wash and stain his fence I discussed the process before sending the “staining” sub-contractor Once the sub-contractor hooked his power wash machine to the customer’s water spicket (standard in the industry), the customer threatened to call the police and have him arrested for theft of his water The sub-contractor called me immediately and I tried repeatedly to call the customer The customer would not answer his phone I then text him and offered to pay for any water we used The customer responded the next day with an offer to let him complete the rest of the work on the contract because we have trouble getting good quality help I disagreed and said we would finish the work on the contract He proceeded to send me his attorney’s contact information.We received a letter from MrMyer's attorney requesting termination of the agreement and a refund of all funds not usedAt his point, whit the payment that we received from the homeowner, we just covered our cost for roofing materials and labor
