While sitting in the waiting room, Mr. [redacted] said he overhead staff member discussing two different patients. I was not in the area of the office that this discussion was to have said to take place to hear for myself. I can not dispute that , bua patient may not have been mentioned, but I...

am under the impression that no name or health data was disclosed. I did talk to my staff and reminded them of the importance of being discreate with every patient. Our Phlebotomist is always very professional. I have never had any complaints in regards to her attire or behavior. I will say that as soon as Mr. [redacted] sat in her chair he told her she would not be able to draw his blood. He told her she was not was finished seeing the good enough. Even after insulting the phlebotomist, she proceeded to draw him as professional as possible.After seeing the doctor we asked him to have a seat in one of our chairs in the check out area as we do all our patients, and they wait to be called around. Due to Hippa regulations we like to deal with one patient at a time and at times our check out receptioist is on the phone giving out information to other specialist doctors. Mr. [redacted] chose not to wait and to go around to the check out desk. He was asked by our check out receptionist to go back around because she was on the phone with another doctor. I understand that Mr. [redacted] had to leave to pick up his fiance's daughter, but I beleive he could have went to the nurse or the check in receptionist as other patient have done in the past and let them know he needed to leave so could they just call him with his next appointment or whatever the doctor needed him to do. He did express to me that he felt his time was as important as the physician that she was speaking to, and I do respect that his time is important, but there are reasons for us to have our designated areas. And she was speaking to another physician about a patiet that had needs and I feel that there time and needs are important as well as there privacy. Mr. [redacted] left several messages in the same day I was lenghty and very insulting to most of my staff, I did return his call and had to leave a message. I received another message from him and did return his call again even though his message stated no one had returned his call. I am sorry he did not have the experience in our office that he wanted but due to his expressed dissatisfaction Dr. [redacted] felt this office would not be a good fit for him. I did take care of all his immediate medical needs, mailed him a medical release and told him in the next thirty days while looking for a new physicain if he had any emergency needs we would take care of, that is our protochol with all patients.
