I had read the reviews, but I interviewed the owner. he explained the impass he was at with the client that refused to pay for the disposal costs after getting a great price, and that he had hired the wrong folks for expanding his business. I hired him to remove a stump. did more than I had asked for. will use him again.
Let him borrow my saw 21 footer because he use to be my neighbor in PBG ! That was 4 weeks ago ! Won't answer my calls or texts .$500 saw !!
A 21 footer saw? That makes no sense .No one makes a saw sizes like that get your story right .
Semper FI is doing business in other states. They were just in Peoria IL. They were to take 2 trees down and grind the stumps. After cutting the trees down they left all of the three large pieces and all of the brush and only grinder one stamp. Took some of the money up each day. Keep saying for a week they were coming back to clean up the yard and found out today they have no intention of coming and cleaning up my yard which now I'll have to hire somebody else to do. They are are there scamming the elderly. They did another ladies house who is elderly and they left all of the sawdust piled up in her yard and did not take the cut up tree trunk.
Orignally this customer was given a quote of $2000 because she was elderly they reduced it to $900 and agreed that stumps would NOT be included or the haul away. The price of 900 was agreed upon. UPON COMPLETION THIS ELDERLY LADY ONLY PAID $700. The job was preformed also on thanksgiving. There is no dump site available. It cost $200 a load to dump. If any one got taken advantage of it was the company that did not get full payment.
Never finished the job after being paid.
Terrible company... hired by my neighbor for what he says was a crazy price but I can't confirm that. What I do know is they cut down trees on my side of the fence that fell in my pool and all over my flower beds. I called the owner of this sham of a business. He agreed to remove them from my property. He however left and lied the next two days about coming back. I had to buy a chainsaw and remove everything myself. Pile was so large the city charged me for a pickup.
Trespassed on my property while I wasn't home, caught them on my video surveillance looking in my windows and patio area. Had to call the sheriffs department. Told my neighbors they were licensed and insured but after a quick internet search found out they were NOT!!!!
