  Hello,    I am writing in regards to the claim I entered in. I received a check for the refund of $56.49 and deposited this check into my bank from [redacted]. I was notified today that it was returned due to the company having insufficient funds. This has overdrawn my account and charged me a fee on-top of the $56.49 that I still haven't received. Review: This company advertises as servicing the New York prison population with mail order goods. I have a friend in [redacted], and in order for him to pick out needed goods like shoes and clothes, I ordered a gift certificate for Christmas from Send A Package. They mailed it out on time, but did not send a catalog with it. I have since tried to call them (phone is never picked up anymore) and emailed them several times. They do not return any email either. So I am out of $100, and my friend the prisoner has a worthless gift certificate, (and no shoes or socks). In the mean time their website is up--but there seem to be no live people there. And that is my complaint.Desired Settlement: I realize chances are slim for a refund, but it would be nice. In the mean time I hope my complaint warns others and thus no other inmates' friends and family will be victims.

Review: I purchased a pair of ADIDAS sneakers from the Send a Package website on 4/*/15 and paid $56.49 through my checking account electronically. As of today, 6/**/15 the sneakers have not been received. I have called the business repeatedly and now the phone is disconnected. I have emailed the business with no response. I am out of $56.49 with no other way to request my money back for a product I paid for but never received, can you assist me?Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $56.49.

Review: I ordered a pair of sneakers in which sendapackage.com told me was back ordered. I was charged for the sneakers and sent an email confirmation that I would not be charged until the order was shipped. I called the company because the order did not ship within a week. I was told it would take 2-3 business days to recieve my refund back on my card. I was charged in which I never should have been. I have called the company many times to ask for the refund and I am told that they refunded it according to there merchant. I was then told that I would be sent a money order. It's been another week and no refund. These sneakers were ordered on Dec [redacted] 2014. This Friday will make a month & no refund or no sneakers.Desired Settlement: I want a refund.

Review: On July [redacted] 2013, I ordered a pair of sneakers for my brother who is incarcerated from send a package.com. The sneakers finally arrived after a three week wait. The sneakers that arrived was not the sneakers I ordered. Also, the wrong sneakers that arrived was not permitted by the correctional facility due to the insertions within the sol of the sneakers. My brother had to pay for the sneakers from his account to be sent back to the company. I called the company and informed them that the wrong sneakers was sent and they were sent back. They gave me their apologies and informed me that a reimbursement for the cost of returning the sneaker back was going to be credited to my credit card. As well as, the right sneakers was going to be sent.Going on two and a half month later, NO credit has been applied to my credit card for the cost of the sneakers and for sending the wrong sneakers back and the correct sneakers have not been sent. I called send a package numerous times. I even emailed them the official paper work stating the money was taking out of my brothers account and the department of correctional facility sent the back August [redacted], 2013. I believe this company preys on families who loved one are incarcerated. Either the correctional facility in the state of new york is corrupt or this company is scamming the general public..It is hard enough to have a love one away from home and then have to deal with companies like this, who takes your money for a product and send the wrong product..Apologies and promise to correct the situation and does nothing. They are scamming families. Please helpDesired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the cost of the sneakers and the mailing cost for sending them back.

In order for a refund to be issued, the items must be returned. Once they items are retuned, we would be more than happy to issue her a complete refund for the cost of the items as well as the shipping.

The correctional facility sent the sneakers back because my brother could not have those sneakers. I ordered fila's and send a package sent my brother adidas. My order took forever to get to the store and when I called to speak to the guy I explained that it was a issue so if they can hold it before they send it to the facility he said okay. I had a hard time getting in contact with them to finally send it out and that's when the guy said oh no we don't hold for that long they sent my order back. So I said ok well I'm not going to order it again so he said he was going to issue me a refund check never received that after calling twice he said the check was still processing. I saw that I still didn't receive it I was calling and even went on the website and now it's saying that the store is closed and the number is not in service. Now I don't think that's right at all because we work hard to make sure our loved ones have and to have my money just taken like that it's not cool at all I'm far from rich so that's a big loss because my husband was depending on the sneakers and look now. Please somebody help me thank you.Desired Settlement: Hopefully I hope to get my money back at least.

Review: I ordered a package for an inmate at [redacted] in [redacted]. Two and half weeks later the package arrived to the facility with only three of the items. The most expensive item, a pair of adidas sneakers was not in the package. I tried numerous times to contact the business by their website email, their customer service email, telephone and via their [redacted] page. I have gotten no response from them. Other people have reported issues with them as well via [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like the money I spent on the item to be refunded to my card and they keep the item. I no longer trust that I can do business with this company.

However, order has not been delivered, web site shows "in process" but can not get anyone at Send A Package to return my calls or e-mail inquiries using the contact information provided on their web site:

Review: ordered clothing items on the[redacted] of January 2014 and was told that the package should be delivered on the following [redacted] which would have been the [redacted] of January however the package was never delivered and when I emailed the company as directed I received a response that someone would return a call to address the order issue. after not receiving any call and or email I then called the company on several occasions and got nothing but the run around I was told that the package was sent to its billing location and then I was told that it was held at the post office due to the weather conditions and then after speaking to someone in the office again I was told that someone will then call me again to see what happened to the package and never got a response. I charged these items on my credit card and demanded a full refund including the shipping and handling fees. they never sent the package because my brother never received it.Desired Settlement: refund for full amount paid

Review: I made an order on 8/**/2014. I recieved an email stating I will not be billed until my items have shipped which would take 1-2 buisness days. However I was billed right away. Today is 9/*/2014 and my items have not been shipped. I have not been able to reach anyone through phone or email. I have checked my online account and it does not show if my item has been shipped or not. I spoke to the inmate yesterday and the inmate has not recieved the package. I f the item has not been shipped and will not be shipped I ask for my money back or atleast a call or email from management explaining what is going on.Desired Settlement: I would like conformation that my order was delivered and a tracking number. If my order was not delievered I will like my money back and an apology.
