Review: I ordered a trial sample of an anti-aging cream on-line for $4.95 in October 2014. The ad stated "just pay shipping and handling". I received the product. On December 1, the company alerted me by email that my "Auto-refill" had been shipped and that on December 1 my credit card was being charged $99.73. I looked back on my earlier credit card charges and noticed that I had also been charged $99.73 on November 1, 2014. I contacted the company by phone and e-mail, and was told I could cancel my auto-ship as of December 2, but that I owed the previous charges. When pressed, the phone rep. said he could refund 57% of the first charge, since it was out of the 30 day trial period. This was a deceptive business practice, in that nowhere was I told I was signing up for anything but a one-time charge of $4.95. I knew nothing about signing up for auto-ship or about a 30 day period to contest charges.Desired Settlement: Refund $199.46 in unauthorized charges. Stop this company from misleading advertising.
Review: Responded mid 2014 to an online ad for a "free sample" (min. cost and shipping) of a two cream facial product for reduced wrinkling. Received product it was nothing special. In October 2014 received an email notice that $94.56 was charged to my Visa card on 9/26/14 for an order of this product. I called the number indicated, reached Agent #[redacted] who argued that I had not notified them within the required timeline to stop an ongoing order which would be charged to the Visa I had used when responding to their "free sample" ad. I should have known enough to get out my magnifying glass and read the fine print but had not. At this point I requested that all future shipments be stopped immediately, and that I had not received, nor did I want, the shipment enroute for which I had already been charged. She argued with me, but then agreed that future orders would be stopped and that I could return it unopened, marked with a number given me, which I did, and the refund would be credited back to my account within 4-6 weeks. No refund was credited, so on 1/2015 I sent an Urgent Customer Service complaint outlining the above at their customer service email ([redacted]) requesting an immediate response re my refund. I had tried calling both the *original number I called as well as another number I found and had been told on both numbers that they were not in service at this time. This AM I tried one more number (the one on my Visa billing) and was advised via voicemail that this was Seneca Skin Support, they could not respond at this time to my call, but that they would respond to their Customer Service email (listed above). I never was responded to via that email, nor did it come back as non working, so I believe they received it. The package I sent was not returned to me as undeliverable either, so I also believe that it was received. I simply want my the refund promised. *your form read as SS# and would not accept-can supply if neededDesired Settlement: Payment in the amount of $94.56.

Response:
Good morning and thanks for your response. I have attached a copy of my VISA statement showing billings from 9/21-10/22/2014. Indicated is the 9/26/14 posted automatic deduction from SKINTIMATE of $94.56 circled. This was my first indication that I was going to receive any additional product from Vitabella other than the samples. At this point I had not yet received the product billed. I then received the attached email notification of the Shipment Confirmation - Order number [redacted] which indicated this was “ordered on 10/22/14 at 4:11AM”. I had ordered nothing and had not intended to continue use of the product after the initial sample(s) received. This is when I initially called as outlined in the followup email response to them from me - titled “Urgent Customer Complaint” - sent Jan. 3, 2015. This outlines my initial call to them upon receipt of the notiication of shipment. Agent #320 had advised me of how to return the product when it arrived and advised me that I would receive a credit to my account. This has never occurred, nor have I been able to reach them on any of the numbers I have tried - all now indicate that they are not in service at this time. Please advise if you need any further information from me. I sincerely appreciate your assistance with this. [redacted]
Review: I received samples of product, I did not order or consent to autoship of product at any time after that. 3 wks later, my bankcard was charged for a shipment of the product, which I never received. I emailed company to cancel any further shipment, and informed them that I was charged for product that was never received. I requested a refund. Did not get a response. 3 wks later, another charge to my bankcard, no products. They stopped shipment, but did not stop charging me for the product. I emailed again to explain problem. Again, no response.Desired Settlement: They should respond to my email. And credit my debit card for the amount taken. $ 199.46.
Review: I agreed to try a free product, and pay for shipping. 15 days later along with the 3.95 charge, I was stuck with a 99.95 charge, and then 30 days later, they charged my credit card with another 99.95 charge. I have attempted to get in touch with them with email and phone calls . I am placed on hold and then they hang up. I cannot afford to have this kind of charge on my card every month. If I had known this BEFORE I agreed to the FREE product, I would have never signed up for this!!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to have the charges removed from my credit card and in the future not be automatically charged.
Review: The online offer was for a free trial for skin care products. Only S&H were supposed to be charged for the product. I placed the order on September 15, 2014. I was charged for the S&H, but never received the product. After approximately two weeks, I followed up with their customer support and discovered they had an incorrect shipping address. After correcting the address with their customer support, I was supposed to receive a re-shipment of the product. Additional two weeks, never received anything. Called again and a supervisor was supposed to call back, they claimed this was a special handling issue. Never received the call. Called back in one week, again given same story - never received a call back. On October 29, was sent an email from their support indicating I had been charged $99.73 for 'Seneca Auto Ship'. I called their customer support again, explaining they had never sent the original shipment and had no authorization to place this charge. The agent indicated to me (which was the first time I had seen or heard these terms) that the additional charges were for the cost of the product I was shipped, and since I had not replied after the trial period, was being charged. I had not seen anything on their order page with these terms at the time of my order. I also reminded the agent that I had never received a product for any trial period to even have begun. During the call, I also discovered that they had in fact charged my card a total of (3) times since September 29. I did not receive any email notification for these first two charges. I insisted they credit the charges, and the agent (she stated her operator # as #179) agreed she would do so today. I requested an email including both the transaction ID and the total amount of the credit, which she agreed to do. I have not received this email confirmation.Desired Settlement: 1) Refund all charges on my account (~$310.00 USD).2) Disclose whether they are PCI compliant.3) Stop this deceptive business practice by ensuring they fully disclose on the order page all terms associated with the order, including the full cost of the product and that it is connected to the trial, the authorization for recurring charges and an opt-out provision to stop the charges/return/refund product.
Review: On Oct. 31,14, I ordered [redacted](face creams). It was a 14 day trial for the shipping($[redacted] and $[redacted]). If I wasn't satisfied, I had to call them and cancel all future automatic shippings, otherwise I would be charged $**+ for each product. Today, Nov. 14,14, I called to cancel. They said I was too late and had to pay the shipping back on both products. They counted the day it was shipped and I counted from the day after I ordered and that would be today. And there was only about a 5 day trial period for the shipping I paid for because of the time it took them to ship the product. I feel this is a scam- the least they make is the shipping and the next greater profit is that you would pay for atleast one order. They never told me that I would have to ship the product back at my expense. I think these are very 'shoddy' business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund, since I didn't get 14 days of trial for the shipping I paid. And a refund of whatever I pay to ship it back. I would also like you to review such practices, which are very sneaky, and see if you could block them from selling in this state. The very least they could have done, when I was purchasing would have been to tell me what was going to be the result of being late or at least about shipping back the product.
Review: Ordered a trial sample and then tried to cancel the order, but the phone number has been disconnected and the customer service will not respond to email inquiries in order to cancel future orders. A return number is required to cancel the order, but can not get ahold of anyone. Have been billed once already and am trying to return and cancel all future orders.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund and stop all future deliveries.
Review: Seneca Skin Care took 4.95 for Seneca skin 3.95 for vitabella on October 11, 2014. Oct 12 I emailed them do not take any monthly bs out of my account this a onetime deal.
I make sure I have money in my account to pay my bills but I don’t balance to the penny, I got on my computer December 4 and I receive an email thank you for your order I immediately replied I just woke up I have not ordered anything since October and that was it. Dec 5 I get a shipment notification, I replied do not send I did not order. Dec 6 I go to my credit union to find out they took money in Nov 99.73 and again in Dec 99.73. I came home tried to call the phone number no longer works, I sent 4 emails telling them they need to put my money back in my account. I finally get a cancellation on Dec 7, but they have not put my money back in my account…. Please help thank you and Merry xmas
