Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below This business did not respond to our specific concerns They responded in a generic, marketing fashion We asked for the accounting records which supported the amount of deposit returned and did not get it We received copies of invoices that we already had We need a copy of the contract signed by my sister, [redacted] , along with a step by step reconciliation of these monies We need a satisfactory answer as to why the General Manager of the business did not respond to a certified letter and then refused to speak with us We needed to share with her the evidence of wrong doing perpetuated by A MEMBER OF HER TEAM She showed no interest, whatsoever If any of us were the owners of that business we would want to see for ourselves what was going on and take steps other than simply removing her from staff We were NEVER informed of the removal of the questionable caregiver, and any further actions taken to protect other seniors in the future It sounds like this caregiver was simply 'moved on.' We still feel that we should not be paying for such reprehensible behavior on behalf of a trusted health care workerThe only charges asked to be removed were those during the time frame of the disgusting acts There still needs to be an apology So, no, we are not satisfied with Senior Helper's response We would still like all of the concerns specifically addressedRegards, [redacted]

Mrs*** contacted our office at the time of her concern requesting that a meeting would take place on a specific day and time of her preference in our office located in ***. She also requested the presence of our Registered Nurse and Management. She didn’t disclose the reason for the meeting when she called. I personally reached out to Mrs*** by phone stating that we were here to support her and her family and that if she needed anything to please contact us at any time. She still didn’t mention any concerns and only confirmed her request of a meeting with our Registered Nurse and Management. The meeting was granted and took place at the time and location requested and both our Registered Nurse and our Office Manager were in attendance. Mrs*** concerns were addressed accordingly. Our Manager as well as our bookkeeper are available at any time to respond to any further concerns as well as to provide any financial reports Mrs*** may find helpful in understanding the full refund of her initial deposit. Please feel free to contact our Office Manager or our bookeeper at any time and we will be happy to answer any of your concerns as we always have

Senior Helpers serviced Mrs*** ** ***’s mother since September 2012. The family was always very pleased with our services and caregivers. In October Mrs***’s mother had an hospitalization. Her health declined and the family increased the hours of
services. Senior Helpers staff was very supportive to Mrs***, her family and most specially her mother. We were quick to fill all the additional hours needed by the family in a very short notice to meet their needs. Mrs***’s complaint regarding the specific caregiver was addressed immediately and the caregiver was removed. The caregiver in question was newly hired by Senior Helpers in September 2014. She holds a Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of RI. Her references were checked satisfactory including another home care agency that she was current working for and a former client. She received an initial skills assessment by our registered nurse and passed that assessment as well. When the complaint was brought to our attention she was redirected by management and removed from her shifts. However, Mrs***’s request of removing all charges of services provided by that caregiver was found unreasonable and no refunds were issued. Her account was closed as requestedHer last day of service was 11/29/Her initial deposit balance was entirely refunded on 12/09/by our bookkeeperWe have been servicing RI for over years and are proud to always put our clients first and we do believe a perfect match between client and caregiver is crucial for the client wellbeing. We always hear our clients concerns and make sure they receive the quality care they deserve

This business did not respond to our specific concerns.  They responded in a generic, marketing fashion.  1.  We asked for the accounting records which supported the amount of deposit returned and did not get it.  We received copies of invoices that we already had.  We need a copy of the contract signed by my sister, [redacted], along with a step by step reconciliation of these monies.2.  We need a satisfactory answer as to why the General Manager of the business did not respond to a certified letter and then refused to speak with us.  We needed to share with her the evidence of wrong doing perpetuated by A MEMBER OF HER TEAM.  She showed no interest, whatsoever.  If any of us were the owners of that business we would want to see for ourselves what was going on and take steps other than simply removing her from staff. 3.  We were NEVER informed of the removal of the questionable caregiver, and any further actions taken to protect other seniors in the future.  It sounds like this caregiver was simply 'moved on.' 4.  We still feel that we should not be paying for such reprehensible behavior on behalf of a trusted health care worker. The only charges asked to be removed were those during the time frame of the disgusting acts. 5.  There still needs to be an apology.   So, no, we are not satisfied with Senior Helper's response.  We would still like all of the concerns specifically addressed. Regards,
