I believe this company takes advantage of the elderly. They said they had to send a nurse to evaluate the premises before giving service. The fee would be $165.00. The sent the same person twice in one day and charged an extra $250.00.
Some of the caregivers were experience and pleasant, though they sent different people frequently.. They also charged a premium rate for one night aide, saying they had worked over 40 hours that week.. they never notified me there would be a $10/hr extra charge.
they also billed my credit card before sending me an itemized bill. There was a note on the bill saying do not pay this bill. the bill did say balance due, even thought they had already charged the credit card.

We are communicating with the Complainant, and I am please to report that we are working on resolving this matter.

Review: This company approached me in the hospital, as I was attending my SICK 91 year old mom who THERE with many medical issues.I was advised by the rep, Carol that this organization is number one in home health care,and that my insurance I provided them was ok to use.I would not have consented if The insurance was not in place. They started their service to mom on 6/*/15 through 6/**/15. During the time of this company home health care to mother I believe we terminated or at least requested that 5 employees, 1 social worker and 1 RN for reasons of professionalism,not advising the paying client that their was a medical issue pending, having inexperienced ladies take care of the elderly,not being organized as first thought.Also being humiliated by the case manager and social worker that the house smelled of urine,was unsafe and not environmentally friendly,when in fact professionals from a law firm, RN from Medicare and other city government agency visited said property and never commented on such.Added to the above.Failure to provide a statement of services rendered to my NYC address to include the names of the folks that visited us an their hours.Desired Settlement: provide me with statements,dates,time and dollar figures in order that counsel and I Can compare notes,review and do.[redacted].

Review: They were doing services for my elderly parents for about a year. Then huge unauthorized bill started coming to their home and my brothers and me. We asked them to explain the charges and who authorized these services and they refused. We emailed over and over, called multiple times all to no avail. Finally, we told the we no longer needed their services and that my parents were going into an assisted living facility. We never heard back from them despite repeated attempts to resolve some of these billings. My father passed away in April and we still hadn't heard anything. Last week we received a letter from a lawyer demanding $16,000 dollars or they would start collection proceedings. We have turned it over to a lawyer now but this company needs to be reported. We paid all we felt we owed as per our agreements and now they are demanding this excessive amount.Desired Settlement: Zero balance since we paid all they were owed.
