Hi [redacted],   First let me say I have not refused to respond to your complaint. Today is the first I have heard of your Revdex.com complaint and I take it very seriously. You can verify with them that they have been sending complaint to the wrong email address and have a wrong street address as well....

Second, I have not sent you a check or responded to you since my letter of October 31, 2014 as I was waiting to hear your response to my proposed settlement. Attached to the complaint from the Revdex.com was a copy of your email of November 1, 2014 which I had not seen. I will take responsibility for missing it previously. Frankly, after a week or so I had forgotten that I hadn’t heard from you. I should have followed up but like you I sent the email and when I didn’t hear from you I didn’t send a follow up to be sure you had received and responded to it.   With that said rather than go through the details of your complaint and my response your proposal of meeting you half way on the cost of your new dishwasher is reasonable to me.   I have sent a check for $315.00 to your home address.       Sincerely,   [redacted]   [redacted]

Review: In mid-Oct. Mr. [redacted] of SenSpec was contacted regarding a detailed home inspection, as per SenSpec's web page, by him on a house I purchased. I and my real estate agent walked the inspection with him. After I moved I went to use the dishwasher and discovered the inner door, inner lining were in complete disrepair and dish racks on the top and bottom were completely rusted out. I informed Mr. [redacted] of the despicable conditions and asked him to replace the unit since this should have easily discovered during his detailed inspection. He responded he did not recall ever loo[redacted] inside the dishwasher and confirmed his notes made no mention of the inside nor did he take any photos. His only response was he ran the motor and it ran. On Oct. 23 he said he would send a check for the rusted racks. I asked, since the dishwasher had to be replaced and beyond simple repair (as per the home warranty repair man who quoted me almost $700) for him to cover full replacement. He again refused saying he had no responsibility since the dishwasher was not defective. He wrote "page 14 states CLEANLINESS IS NOT CONSIDERED." In other words he was saying the dishwasher was only dirty. The repairman said that was completely false. He also changed his story and claimed he did, in fact, open the dishwasher but his view of rusted racks was obstructed by dishes and could not see the rusted racks. As mentioned I walked the inspection with him and at no time do I recall him opening the door nor pointing out the despicable condition of the door, lining or partially seen racks. He again told me and my agent he would send a check for rusted racks. On Nov. 1 I asked if he opened the dishwasher why he did not see the disrepair door and inner lining. He has never replied to my Nov. 1 email and has stated he alone would determine compensation. Mr. [redacted] told my agent twice he would send compensation. He has also said the same to me in two emails. As of today Mr. [redacted] has not kept one promise.Desired Settlement: On Nov. 8 I went to The Home Depot and purchased a new dishwasher for $628.43 (dishwasher, installation and parts). I feel a full reimbursement would be appropriate but would settle if he met me half way instead of saying he and he alone would determine what is fair, in spite of his repeated false promises for reimbursement.
