Review: I purchased a home video surveillance system from the same company from which I purchased my alarm system. The owner, [redacted], demanded $4070 for the product. I prepaid $3300 on 2/1/2013, and he started to install the system on 2/11/2013 with the aid of his technician, [redacted]. After that, we discovered that a program which he had talked up was not in that system, so he said it was a recent upgrade and he would come back to install it. Whenever I needed help with the system, he was unavailable - "at the hospital with my wife" or "I just had a heart attack and have been in the hospital". When I asked his assistant [redacted] about the latter, he knew nothing about a heart attack. [redacted] did not show up to explain the system to me, "as advertised" verbally before I bought it - he did not call to cancel appointments. The only time he showed up was when he thought he would get money from me.He came over today 2/22/2013 to put in the update, and could not accomplish this. He became belligerent with my Internet company, [redacted], on the phone, and hung up on them. He demanded the final $770, and when I refused to give it to him, he pulled out the wires of my equipment, and left with the monitor, remote and mouse. He also stole my memory stick. Previously, he had stolen my former monitor and mouse against my wishes. He had said he would return them, but did not. He said: "[redacted] you, [redacted]" as he left.The system he sold me was useless, as he had put the wrong time and date into it and I could not access valuable information that I needed to give to the police about some vandalism on my property. Now I have no system at all.Desired Settlement: I want my old equipment and memory stick back. I want a refund of $3300 plus an additional $2000 for wasting my time and resources, scaring me with his temper, rudeness to my Internet company, and not giving me a product I could use.
