We have received your letter in regards to *** *** located at ** *** *** ** *** *** **Mrs***purchased a Tempstar Forced Air Furnace and Air Conditioner from Sentry South Appliance Service Company Inc.manufactured by ICPUSA which was installed irt her home on August 4,
The job was finished and signed off on bythe consumer at that timeOur first service call after installation was reported by her on April 28, She then calledon November 23, stating the temperature is offSentry responded with a home visit free of charge to address herissueShe then called on January s'h Sentry also responded with an in home visit and replaced a limit switch and afilter for her at no chargeIf any other service calls occurred we are unaware of them and so is the Manufacturerbecause no parts were exchanged for warranty purposesPlease see the attached history reportWhen this consumercalled our office on October 11, she had stated ar\Other company was contacted because she was having troublewith her furnace and wanted a second opinionThat company diagnosed the furnace as having a defective gas valve thatwould cost her $At no time during this phone conversation was she nor I irateam disappointed that she didn'tcall us because she does have a part warranty thru ICPUSA and her part is covered under the Manufacturer Warrantythrough an ICP authorized servicer which we areAttached you will find the ICPUSA limited warranty statementAsstated by the Manufacturer line item on the right side, what is not covered is made pretty clear that the cor~sumershall pay all labor fees, repair costs, shipping fees, etcAlso in this Limited Warranty Certificate to the left line item 9states the owner of said equipment must maintain a yearly preventative maintenance on the equipment as to notcompromise the part warranty which she has not had that service performed to my knowledge to dateThis cor1sumer isin possession of all of this information as she was left a packet upon completion of installationSentry South Applianceinstalled the furnace on August 4, and supplied a labor warranty to her for one year from the original date ofinstallationDue to a few service calls we extended that warranty thru August 4, as a good faith gestureThatwarranty has i11deed expiredI will provide parts at no charge to her if installed by us and the proper labor rates apply,$for the service call which includes minutes of labor a rod $per half hour thereafterThis repair should rtotexceed hourThat is a savings of $plus tax iro comparison to the other company charging her $I amunaware that she proceeded with the repair and has provided no proof that she hasIf that documentation can besupplied I will be open to looking at it.Sincerely,Kay J***General ManagerSentry South
