The owner of the property did hire a.e.s.incto do the soils and engineering work in order to obtain a permit and do the installation Once the same person and the new buyer did not want to wait till the work was completed before they closed on the deal, the seller broke his word to us doing the work in order to make the deal after getting me to come out to the site several times without compensation and came up with some different ways that a,.e.sinconly could do this work and save him moneyOnce we were told we had been lied to and did not have the work, I told our engineer to go ahead and release the drawings to the new ownerThere is nothing standing in the way of him getting his drawingsThe drawings are done up to St Louis County Code.Feel free to contact our engineer and he will get you the Drawings for the new systemThis could have all been avoided if the original homeowner had not lied!!!!!! Thank you

The business has responded Please see below:On April **, 2015, the customer hired us to excavate and replace a water supply line from the curb key into the basement foundationShe was informed of our excavation terms, which include the industry standard practice of restoring the grade to machine finishThe foot wide asphalt walkway was directly between the curb and the house and it was obvious that it would have to be, at least partially, removedThe customer was away during the excavation, so the technician called her and explained exactly what he was going to do, including the removal of a portion of the walkwayThe supply line was installed and the grade was restored to machine finist is not unusual for some rocks to surface after it rains and the soil settlesThere was no topsoil or landscaping included in the agreement, estimate or invoiceSeveral months later, in August, the customer contacted us about rebuilding the walkway, so she could shovel it in the winterWhen we sent a technician out to look at it, she told him that we had not informed her that we were going to remove part of the walk and suggested that we should replace itThe technician was trying to appease the customer and suggested that he might be able to pave a foot wide strip for about $to restore what she had, but that he would need approval from managementManagement did not approve this, as we only do professional work, that we can guaranteeA thinly paved strip above a lawn, to match what the customer had, would be torn apart by grass and other vegetation and would crumble, much as her existing walkway was already doingWe offered the customer several other options for concrete or block/paver walks, but these were all more than $We can, in fact, still offer those options, but it is simply not possible to replace the entire walk, in a professional manner, for $

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/04/03) */ This customer purchased the item on June 6, It is now April 3, which is almost months from the purchase dateOur return policy is clearly stated online as a 30-day return policyThe customer agreed to this when he checked out and placed the order from our websiteOur company return policy is listed at the following link and was also included inside the package when shipped: [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/01/06) */ This customer purchased an item from our website on 12/15/and agreed to our return policy online at the time of purchaseThe customer also filled out the return merchandise form and sent it back with the item which clearly explained the fees that would be chargedI've also attached a copy of that formAs stated in the return policy, the item had to still be in new, unused condition for it to be accepted for returnEven though the item wasn't used, it still had to be re-boxed in a new box so that it can be shipped out againI've also attached a copy of our shipping receipt showing that we paid $to ship out the item which is not refundable when the item is returnedIt says in the return policy "Any items returned will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus Septic Solutions' original expenses for shipping and handling charges." This is exactly what was deducted from the customer's refundThere were no hidden fees and this was all clearly explained and agreed to buy the customer both at the time of purchase and at the time of returnA refund was already issued on 12/23/for the item returned and in accordance with our return policy Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2015/01/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It is fraudulent to list an item as "free shipping" if you are going to charge for that shipping after the fact

Stay away from this product (Polylok Flow Controller) and save your moneyI was quite enthusiastic about receiving this product and looking forward to the installation to be able to control the two leach fields associated with my septic tankHowever, when I opened the box I noticed that it seemed like a really cheaply made productIn order to test it, I took a garden hose and put it into the inlet side and noticed that instead of diverting in one direction, some of the water leaked through to the other sideOf course, that is the purpose of the itemThere are supposed to be settings - divert to the right but not the left, divert to the left but not the right, and 50% to each oneAlso unfortunate was that when I called the company, they informed me they would cost me $to return the product which cost $to begin withSo I decided if I could help one or more individuals out there then I would consider that I had done something beneficialIn other words, again, stay away from this product (and probably this company) and save your money

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The business is untruthful about the condition of original walkway....and of conditions it was left in after work was completed...ie the large rocks all over the yard... My problem is ..although it is true quote was not put in writing..I was in fact given a verbal quote to replace walkway.. I accepted the quote...and a day to do the work was scheduled... It wasn't until the actual day the work was to be done that the company decided to back out of this agreement... I know this company will do nothing about how they treated me in this particular case... Or about the wasted time..the aggravation....and the cost I ended up paying to replace the walkway... My hope is they are not permitted to do this to the next unsuspecting customer who puts their trust in the word of this company. In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The business has responded Please see below:The customer's recent reply was garbled and difficult to understand, but I will try to address what can be gleaned from itThe "walkway" was directly between the curb and the houseEven if the customer does not recall being told, it was obvious that there was no way to get the pipe to the house without digging up a section of the walkThe "walkway" was a very narrow, crumbling and overgrown strip of asphaltThe excavation was done in a professional manner with as little disruption to the yard and walkway as possibleThere were no "huge" rocks left in the yardWe have photos of the yard and walkway after work was completed, which confirm the aboveUnfortunately, the technician that visited the customer to address the complaint was not the one who did the excavationHe was given inaccurate information from the customer regarding the scope of the original work and, as a result he made some incorrect assumptionsHowever, he did not provide a written estimate for additional workWe regret the misunderstanding and, as a result, offered the customer a significant discount and several options for a walkway replacementWe could not offer to patch the already crumbling walkway with asphalt and we cannot offer a refund on excavation work that was properly performed, according to the original quote

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/21) */
AES Inc, was called out to the above mentioned location to look at a grinder lift station that had been ran over by what the owner said was his sisterAt that time he was quoted approximately $for a new pumpHe did not want to spend the
money for a new pumpWe offered to remove his old damaged pump and try to repair / rebuild it, and told him at that time that we could not warranty the old pump the same as a new pump, because we do not warranty any repaired pumps more than days and that would only be for the parts we had replaced that were damagedWe cannot warranty a repair of an older pump like we would a new pumpHe agreed and said he preferred us to repair the old oneWe took it to our shop and took it apart and repaired what problems we could physically see was wrong with itWe took it back out and re- installed it with all new pipe, fittings, and electrical parts that had been damaged from the vehicle driving over itWe ran it threw a series of test cycles and it was working properlyThe work was performed on 10-08-so any warranty would have expired on 12-08-The complaint was registered almost months laterWe are sorry that the old pump did not hold up for him, but he was the one who made the decision to go the less expensive way with the shorter warrantyWe would be willing to try and work this out with them if they wanted to install a new pumpWe would give them the pump at the price quoted and would not charge any labor for the installation

The customer had called needing her tanks pumped, we responded and told her we were backed up as far as our schedule is concernedShe told us that she needed it as soon as possibleWe moved her up in the schedule as best we could and got her
tank pumpedWhile we were pumping her tanks, she ask us to look at her system and tell her what was wrong and what the cost of repairs would beSo we did, she had evidentially paid someone to install the system and it had not been maintained properly and had several issueOne of which is that a couple of small trees had been allowed to grow up threw her time dosing panel for so long that they had actually pulled the wiring out of the box and caused the pump to not workWhere they brought the pump lines threw the tank wall was a hole the size of a small Frisbee letting whatever effluent went into the pump tank just run out onto the groundWe told her about all of the issues and gave her a partial bid stating we did not know the cost of the time dosing panel at that timeOnce we did know the price, we told her and she wanted us to fix itAgain we told her we were backed up on our scheduleShe kept calling and texting and we tried a couple of times to fit her in on the schedule but it did not work outWe also told her if she needed to call someone else to do so, We were going to be there the next week when we got this complaint and tried to explain, and she said ok come on and fix itThen she came back and said no forget it I have someone elseWe honestly tried our best to do what she wanted, we just could not do it on her time frameSorry,

First of all they never  said they needed to rip I p the walkway...also as for the one person  coming to look at it he said he could repair it for 600 dollars. ..he did not say he needed to get permission. ...he even set up the day he was coming to fix it.and that if I had the cash on me he would not  charge  tax...The front  yard was covered in huge r9cks ..as for ripping  ir up he never said he had to..he implied that he vold go under ir just lIke they went under the house.... It was on that day that last minute that he called and said he could not fix it..I hAve now hired someone to come fix  it..... ..They are here right now....  My problem  is I was lied to repeatedly and told one thing firm one person  and another  thing  from another  person. ...This went on over several  weeks and as I said he called very last minute  to say he wouldn't  be  doing it...  You don't make a financial  deal with someone. .let time go by..then call that day and say that you aren't c9ming...that the bosses decided last minute that the job that was going to be done would have been in their  own  words a half as job. When a company  says they will do a job you assume  that they are doing a complete  100 percent  job....  They went back and forth  and lied aND caused major aggrevation  ..As I said I have now hired another  company...  I feel  they should  reemburse me at least the 600 dollars that I was told they would charge  me to do this job.  If their  own employee makes a quote and sets up the date to do the work then the bosses tell him no..not for  that price...that employee  should have had to do the job correctly  and pay out of his own pocket  to do it the way the bosses wanted it done.
