Choosing Alpha Properties was one of the best decisions we made. The owner, Ra Peters is a person that cares and is understanding. I found him to be honest and straight forward with no surprises. If the situation arose again, with myself or someone I know, I would definitely call Alpha Properties.
We bought our house nine years ago when times were better for us, unfortunately we didn't know what the future held and after major repairs and an Illness that has limited our income for the last five years, we were at the end of our rope, financially and emotionally Our choices were, stay and hope that things would get better in the short term, fix the house and sell or walk away and let the bank deal with it Option one was not realistic, our housing costs were way to high Option two was not possible because our savings had gone into the house to repair the foundation and to survive in the early days of my illness and any future savings were eaten by the housing costs Option three would have hurt us for a number of years but it's the one we were preparing to make at the advice of family and friends We found Alpha Properties while doing a search on Rental Properties and thought let's give this a go I expected some wheeling dealing fast talker to give me a lowball offer that wouldn't cover the most basic of costs I was surprised and pleased to find Ré to be soft spoken and interested in our situation We were up front with him and he was with us Right off the top he said he would like to help us out but if there wasn't going to be a satisfactory return for him then business is business I respect that and Ré quickly gained my respect by being forthcoming and honest, he made a fair offer and we accepted What impressed me most was the way contractors and agents talked about dealing with him There was no hint of negativity in their voices We are looking forward to a new start, whatever it may bringAt some point it is my hope to return to full time employment and we can save and eventually build what we want Without the stress of the house maybe things will get easier
