I had dinner with my wife and children at Serena'sWhile eating, the salad fork I was using had a shard of metal approximately one inch long and split my tongueI informed the waitress that this occurred and that I was bleeding ( not terrible but nonetheless bleeding)A gentleman approached the table a few minutes later and told me that I could file an insurance claim based on the fork's conditionAfter he understood the issue, I asked if he was the manger and he told me he was the ownerHe asked what he could do to make things better and I told him it was his call, do what you think is right
We had ordered a pizza and this bothered my tongueWhile the waitress checked on us there was no mention of this injuryBecause of the cut, I only ate one piece of pizza as the salt irritated my tongue
When we finished the meal, the owner returned to tell me that he was "comping" our bottle of wineHe had mentioned earlier that he would take care of it and specifically mentioned the bottle of wineThen asked him if I needed to pay for dinner and he said yes
I exclaimed "really"He said yesI then said that my tongue was cutHe said, "that's not my problem"I again said,"really?" He then said yesI told him that he was now losing a customerHe then told me not to come backAt that point he pulled out his phone, videoed me and then told me to pay my bill and to never return again
I received the bill from the waitress, gave her an appropriate tip and commented that her boss was not the right guy to run a businessShe said she could not comment, I replied that I understoodAs I left, I passed *** owner and told him that he gave *** a *** pour name (we discussed earlier that he was from there and I went to college ay *** *** He replied, "really, dude."
Then he said, " have a nice Christmas"
I said, "you too"
I left the restaurantMy family had left 3-minutes prior to this
