For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.MrK*** new I was unhappy with the install of the second ceiling which repair was done on 11/21-22/16. I would not pay his invoice until after my inspection of the work. (I was at work the day the job was completed and the crew left prior to my getting home.) I was dissatisfied upon my inspection. MrK*** did not inspect the job himself but relied upon a photo taken by his crew. When I told him I was not happy with the 2nd install he sent me a text message which states "We have nothing to discuss consider it a 'gift.' We have gone above and beyond to try and make you happy at the cost of money and our time. It doesn't appear possible. We cannot be helpful to you. Have a great holiday - Tony." When I sent him photos of the 2nd ceiling coming down he sent an e-mail to me stating "We installed bead board and trim boards at no cost[he gave me the 2nd ceiling free of charge because he did not want to drive to *** to repair it again.] If you can show us proof of payment we will fixOtherwise you will need to find other meansWe no longer service the *** areaThank you." I have photographs of the first ceiling falling down and now the 2nd ceiling falling down - which the Revdex.com website will not allow me to download. Why should I continue to keep paying for something that keeps falling down!? AND - I paid for the first ceiling not knowing that the product they chose to install would not hold, but was a vinyl siding type that sagged, bowed and came disconnected. When the 2nd ceiling went in, one of his crew "Jeff" stated that the roof that was installed/rafters/beams was apparently installed incorrectly - and maybe THAT is why both ceilings are not staying up. Due to my dissatisfaction, I have also filed a complaint with *** (whose website allows for download of pictures, text messages, etc.) and will also be going to *** *** *** *** *** - where Serene Construction/Tony K*** WILL have to appear. I deserve satisfaction and not at my expense when the job was incorrectly done from the beginning.Regards,

The investigator at Revdex.com notified me this morning of Serene's timeframe I have contacted the Revdex.com to state that Friday, February 17, is acceptable but I would like to know what time so I can make arrangements to be home for the needed repairs as I will have to take time off - I must know what time they will be arriving My time is as valuable as Serene's is If the company does not perform as promised and arrive at the time given to complete (hopefully) this job, I can get back to you at: [email protected]

I find after having already paid $[redacted] and then Serene requiring payment in advance of a ceiling that has already fallen down 2x, 1x with the "better product" (which should have been recommended the first time - and at an additional cost to me of $[redacted] - after I already paid for the first product); and after I was told on November 21, 2016 by 3 crew members (Vinny, Preston and Hunter) that the rafters were installed upside down (when the roof for the deck was initially installed - prior to the first ceiling installation (which ceiling came down in early November 2016)), then a second ceiling with the "better product" installed November 21/22, 2016, which is now coming down - is extremely unprofessional and shows poor judgment for a Class "A" licensed contractor.  I would expect that a well-paying customer who has already expended $[redacted]+ would be given the benefit of the doubt in waiting to pay the invoice until the THIRD repair is complete, the ceiling stays up and the customer is satisfied.

After a storm dropped a tree through my sun room's roof and destroyed the entire room, I was in need of a good repair/rebuild general contractor. I chose a company my insurance gave me a phone nbr to contact. After a week of no communication from them I fired them and did my own research. Luckily I got SERENE's nbr. The owner, Tony, responded immediately. I got their estimate and contract the same day. They were here on time and the crew worked tireless all day every day until the room was completed. They were all pleasant, friendly and knew their work. Its not easy to find competent, knowledgeable professionals at a fair price. I highly recommend SERENE.

Jon and his team are incredible. Completely honest, reliable, and great at what they do. They worked hard to get our project done quick so that we weren't out of a bathroom very long. They took my bathroom idea right out of my head and made it a reality. We couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to everyone who is needing a bath remodel, kitchen, anything-I'm confidant they could get it done and exceed your expectations. We would use them again!
