Serenity Recovery Center

I was quite pleased with my experience at Serenity Point RecoveryThis rehab center gave me a second chance at life where without it I would surely have failed and probably be dead today I've always had a lot of respect for the Revdex.com and I think they're doing a great thing, so I wanted to write a review on here and share my experience with Serenity Point
I had been struggling with alcohol addiction for a very long time I'm not kidding or exaggerating I'm in my fifties now and I had been a steady drinker since my twenties I had stocked up almost three decades of alcohol abuse throughout my adult life with small windows of sobriety here and there
I could not say enough good things about this rehab center The thing is, I've been to many different rehab centers and programs before, and I've had little to no success with them Now, I will never be the one to get up on my high horse and say that a rehab program is a bad one I don't believe there is such thing, and any review that totally slams a rehab center I generally discount Bad rehab centers don't stay in business, legally or fiscally In my day I've been to five rehab centers including Serenity The four I went to before were good programs They certainly weren't bad They treated me well and they tried to help me as best they could
However they just didn't work for me I don't know what it was about them but they just didn't click for me Whatever key buttons needed to be pushed for me or whatever specific treatments needed to be used on me didn't get used or whatnot, and they just didn't quite cut it Sure I had about six months or so of sobriety thanks to them, but I always relapsed
Serenity Point was a different story though This was something the likes of which I had never experienced before This was truly a different center and something that I was really happy to experience I think what made Serenity different was two major things that stood out from other programs First of all, they offered a malleable, results-based length of time to their program This means that you don't just get sent home after twenty-eight days no matter where you are at in recovery It doesn't work like that with Serenity They let you stay on until you and they are both absolutely certain that you've made a full recovery and that you won't relapse
The other part about them that I really enjoyed was that they implemented a sort of a tailor-made program for each client A lot of us took the same classes and experienced a lot of the same counseling sessions, but this is a multi-modality center, meaning rather than just having to go through one type of rehab program, clients can sort of pick and choose from a selection of multiple different types of therapies, classes, counseling sessions, group activities, life skills, electives, etc This enters in a fair amount of client choice, something I had not really experienced before at rehab centers In doing this, the rehab center basically made for a much better program because I was literally able to choose the rehab techniques I felt would work well, and I was able to avoid the ones that I didn't think would work
My hat is off to Serenity Point This rehab center saved my life and I and my whole family have them to thank for that I can be a father to my grown children and hopefully a grandfather soon I have been sober for quite some time now thanks to this rehab center, and though it took five tries, I feel like I finally got it right this time
