connect our new plumbing to the homeowners existing plumbing after water was shut off to the basement for years after a flood it was difficult to determine if new leak was being cause by CMH Builders work or from previous plumbing issues CMH Builders sent out a technician for his third visit and repaired the issue with no charge to this customer We request that this complaint is removed from our company's reputation

[redacted]- I apologize for not responding to your previous messages. I have given a great deal of thought to this issue and want to do my best to make it right for you. I know Levin has been out a couple of times working on the tile and we had Darrin out a few weeks ago to investigate...

After speaking with Darrin, and talking this over with a few of the other people here, I believe we can resolve the issue by strengthening the floor joists from the underneath side of the kitchen. Darrin and I discussed after floor joists and blocking to the existing framing to help it from bouncing or deflecting the way it currently is. I believe this movement in the floor joists is causing the floor to flex and ultimately crack out the grout joints of your floor. Darrin has measured the floor joists and they are nearly at max span rating for building code standards. My dilemma is that we did not include any repairs and/or reinforcement to the existing frame of the home to resolve this sort of issue. At this time, I am also not 100% this solution will fix the problem, but do believe it is worth the time and effort to attempt this as a repair. I don’t believe tearing out the flooring and cabinets and then re-installing would do us any good, as I believe the foundation we are building on would still be less than adequate for this floor. I would like to send Darrin in sometime next week, with a helper, and install the joists/blocking needed to reinforce your floor. I believe we will be able to tell pretty quickly if what we have done has made a positive impact on this problem. Does this sound acceptable to you? If so, do you have a day you would prefer us to set him up to come back?
