I am rejecting this response because: I asked the clerk specifically if the sweater was okay to dry cleanIf there were any doubt, the customer should be warnedHow much trouble is it really to say that your company has had bad experiences with trim and that I may want to reconsider dry cleaning itOn your website, you go on about how everyone is a professional at your businessYou immediately sent me the copy of a page where you point out what the risks of damage with leather trim is but did your employee inform me? Is that page posted anywhere in your store? I come to a dry cleaning company for service but also adviceYou should make a new policy that just points out to your customers who are ignorant of all the ins and outs of dry cleaningI tried to be reasonable with Mike but he wouldn't even waive the cleaning feeNow I want reimbursement for the sweaterI've been going to this company for years and the first time I have a problem, you people treat me this way? Terrible customer serviceYou can send all the materials you want AFTER you've ruined someone's clothes but you should be using these materials sent to me to warn people before they choose to dry cleanObviously, you were all well aware of what COULD have happened and DID happen to my wife's sweaterAgain, why wasn't I warned at the time when you accepted the garment for dry cleaning since you all seem so well versed on vinyl trim?
The imitation leather trim on the cardigan was along the entire front edge of the cardiganThe damaged area was mostly around the collar areaLocalized damage is usually an indication that wear is a factorWe have no way of knowing when a trim is not going to survive the cleaning
process and have no way to prevent damage to defective trims
