I agreed to co-sign for a relative to buy a truck In every step of the process in our discussions with the Serra salesman, Jim Shreves, and their finance department, I made it very clear that I was only there to assist with the down payment and to co-sign for the loan - I was not to be list as a co-owner of the vehicle In one of many back and forth visits Jim Shreves made with their finance department, Jim had told us that my being list as a co-owner was the only way Wells Fargo would agree to finance the balance but after I told them absolutely not, Jim said they could make it happen under my relative's name with the monthly payment he wanted but the interest rate would be higher During the signing of the paperwork with their finance person whose name I don't recall, I noticed my name list first and questioned him why this was only to be told it didn't matter as I was only co-signing the loan How surprised I was when contacted by Wells Fargo to learn that I was list as co-owner of the truck I called Jim Shreves and he told me he would speak with their finance department and have this taken care of but I have yet to hear back from anyone at Serra Now I've learned that the way the sale was put through by Serra that the truck tags show the vehicle housed at my address, in Davidson county, while my relative and the truck resides in Macon county Serra down right lied to make this sale All I can say is I wish I had checked the Revdex.com first If so, we would never have stopped at the Serra dealership

My wife and I bought a new camaro SS from Serra in MadisonIn the first miles it lost quarts of oil, and we couldn't figure out where we were losing the oilWe took the vehicle in and were told by Steve our salesman that it seemed and that his jeep leaks a quart every thousand miles After insisting that he was completely (and yes he is completely wrong) it's not for a new car to lose a quart of oil every miles approximately based on my mathSo we were finally sent to service where they only agreed to change the oil and start a consumption testBecause as we all know people make up stuff like this all the time, and all of the information on the Internet concerning GM's active fuel management system problems and how it's connected to oil MASSIVE oil consumption is all just made up also right? Well once the oil was changed the oil loss went away for about milesThen, we find puddles of oil under our brand new CamaroSo now the speculation on my part, what we are going to do from here, and what you should do as a consumer We are going to take the vehicle to Carl blacks service Dept, or freeland we haven't decided yetI'm going to watch them drain our oil into a container and have it tested for whatever was put into our brand new camaros motor without our permission to stop the leak for the miles that it didn't leak after the oil change Remember we couldn't find the oil leak before it went to their service DeptNow we have puddles on the ground from what is presumably a blown rear main seal from the addition of a sealant additive These people are trash in my opinion and I'm entitled to that opinionOur car was manufactured in Canada from what the door sticker states so much for American manufacturing huh? Ed the service manager is trash in my opinion Steve our salesman in my opinion is a simpleton who makes excuses in an attempt cover up this cat turd in the litterbox called Serra Chevrolet The dealership in general is poorly ran and seems like a bill Heard type of outfit in my opinion Why you the consumer should do is steer clear of Serra ChevroletYou should consider buying a different brand all together actuallyChevrolet should have died long ago and were it not for the US government they would have My wife wanted and SS really bad and I of course wanted her to get an AudiMy Audi A-lost 1/a quart of oil in the first miles and hasn't leaked a drop sinceThat 1/quart can be connected to the seating of the internal parts and distribution of oil into areas where it wasn't already So if you need a new car buy an Audi, buy a Ford, buy a Mazda, but if you must just absolutely buy a Chevy do not buy it from SerraYou WILL be disappointed! Don't trust them they are all liars or mouthpieces for the liars they serve because they do not serve the customer My name is [redacted] my email is [redacted] @yahoo.com if you have any questions feel free to contact me by email or by my Facebook account linked to my Yelp profile Serra= garbage customer service in my opinionWe will see them in court if I have my way and they will pay dearly for their lies, excuses and attempts to pass the buck all the while hurting the customers that keep them in businessOh I had to edit this because I neglected to mention their claim of a star rating on their websiteJust look on the Internet and not their site to debunk their claim

I stop inside this dealership on my way home tonight just to inquire on a pre-owned vehicle I got there spoke with the receptionist who was very pleasant ask her about the vehicle she explain she was not for sure however she will get someone to help me. She got the sale rep name Keith G[redacted] who introduced himself as about the vehicle he said let him get the keys and I can show you I said fine. We walking out I'm asking questions (which a customer should do ) and I'm looking at the car (this is where it went left) I ask about the high miles that showing compared to what NADA said for this year of car what the miles are supposed to be . I then ask why is the car priced higher then what showing on NADA instead of him try to make a sale and ask try to answer the question he went left because I said I'm not trying to pay 9900 for a vehicle that's showing its worth 7800 he states that's trade in value so I ask well when that person traded in the vehicle didn't you subtract the high mileage from it from what you gave the customer who traded it in I said I'm not saying I won't pay more then the trade in value but not 9900 he then states what you think we gave the customer who traded the vehicle in 5k I said no but I'm sure you didn't give them 7800 said man we in the business to make money and I said I'm in the business to save the less I have to come out of pocket he then goes on to say well we don't need to be wasting each other time and started to walk away . I said if you can't handle someone asking you some questions you don't need to be in this business. He said I been selling cars for over 20 plus years I'm not trying to hear you I don't have time to argue with you I'm about my money .And then I said I've been in the finance business for 20 years by this time he yelling at me walking talking about have a good day just have a good day . keep in mind I didn't need there approval I am already pre-approved thru USAA . I ask him what's his name again he said Keith G[redacted] matter fact you can have my card by this time we see a gentleman and the receptionist looking at us he then state I got one better for you , you can talk with my manager I said ok followed him in he told his manager which his name is Keith P[redacted] that I wanted to talk to him. Mr p[redacted] introduced ask me if he could get something to drink I declined I started telling Mr P[redacted] what happy Keith G[redacted] started interrupting me I stop look at Mr P[redacted] ask if I could speak him by myself because it's seem I can't talk with Keith G here he said that's fine ask Keith G to leave went over what happen he apologized said he heard a commotion didn't hear what was said but hear something going on . As I explain I didn't cuss at the sale person I didn't start yelling all I was doing was asking questions and I guess he didn't like my questions because he stated I guess you got all the answers. Me as a customer coming to a dealship for the first time to inquire because I've already approved for a vehicle got me confused on how it went way left. Keith G need some more training because like he stated we in the business to make money but I guess he forgot without customers you can't make money. We never discuss my approval amount he never said ok I understand you don't want to pay the full amount so lets go inside to see if we can come up with an amount that would benefit both of us. I have never got treated like the way I did by a sale person . Yes Keith P[redacted] apologize and ask if he can get me with someone else by this time I had a bad taste in my mouth about the dealership and how they treat their customers. I know it's not everyone's fault there but 1 bad apple can spoil the bunch .. This not the only dealership in town and I'm sure I can find that 2nd vehicle I want not need but want. He may not think it's important to have good Customer Service but it's is very important to me. Like I told Mr P[redacted] I bet you if my husband was here he wouldn't have treated me like that.

How surprised I was when contacted by Wells Fargo to learn that I was list as co-owner of the truck. I called Jim Shreves and he told me he would speak with their finance department and have this taken care of but I have yet to hear back from anyone at Serra. Now I've learned that the way the sale was put through by Serra that the truck tags show the vehicle housed at my address, in Davidson county, while my relative and the truck resides in Macon county. Serra down right lied to make this sale. All I can say is I wish I had checked the Revdex.com first. If so, we would never have stopped at the Serra dealership.

We purchased a near-new vehicle on May 29. Exactly six days later, the clutch started making a loud noise when pressed. My husband called the dealership, hoping they might offer to have the service shop take a look to ensure it wasn't a safety problem. They did not offer until he asked and was told, disrespectfully I might add, that they would "look at it" but would not fix anything. While we believe the issue isn't super serious, I was shocked that a reputable dealership wouldn't want to make the issue right just SIX DAYS after we dropped $18,000. Instead, the manager insinuated that my husband was a "child" for not purchasing their overpriced warranty. I'm sorry, but this is not how good business is done. Even CarMax offers a 30 day guarantee on their vehicles. This is actually the second vehicle I've purchased from this dealership with issues. I had hoped under the new ownership that things would be different....they aren't. I will not shop this dealership again.

My wife and I bought a new 2015 camaro SS from Serra in Madison. In the first 6000 miles it lost 8 quarts of oil, and we couldn't figure out where we were losing the oil. We took the vehicle in and were told by Steve our salesman that it seemed normal and that his 2008 jeep leaks a quart every thousand miles.
After insisting that he was completely (and yes he is completely wrong) it's not normal for a new car to lose a quart of oil every 800 miles approximately based on my math. So we were finally sent to service where they only agreed to change the oil and start a consumption test. Because as we all know people make up stuff like this all the time, and all of the information on the Internet concerning GM's active fuel management system problems and how it's connected to oil MASSIVE oil consumption is all just made up also right?
Well once the oil was changed the oil loss went away for about 1000 miles...... Then, we find puddles of oil under our brand new Camaro. So now the speculation on my part, what we are going to do from here, and what you should do as a consumer.
We are going to take the vehicle to Carl blacks service Dept, or freeland we haven't decided yet. I'm going to watch them drain our oil into a container and have it tested for whatever was put into our brand new camaros motor without our permission to stop the leak for the 1000 miles that it didn't leak after the oil change.
Remember we couldn't find the oil leak before it went to their service Dept. Now we have puddles on the ground from what is presumably a blown rear main seal from the addition of a sealant additive.
These people are trash in my opinion and I'm entitled to that opinion. Our car was manufactured in Canada from what the door sticker states so much for American manufacturing huh?
Ed the service manager is trash in my opinion.

Steve our salesman in my opinion is a simpleton who makes excuses in an attempt cover up this cat turd in the litterbox called Serra Chevrolet.

The dealership in general is poorly ran and seems like a bill Heard type of outfit in my opinion.
Why you the consumer should do is steer clear of Serra Chevrolet. You should consider buying a different brand all together actually. Chevrolet should have died long ago and were it not for the US government they would have.
My wife wanted and SS really bad and I of course wanted her to get an Audi. My 2015 Audi A-6 lost 1/2 a quart of oil in the first 3000 miles and hasn't leaked a drop since. That 1/2 quart can be connected to the seating of the internal parts and distribution of oil into areas where it wasn't already.
So if you need a new car buy an Audi, buy a Ford, buy a Mazda, but if you must just absolutely buy a Chevy do not buy it from Serra. You WILL be disappointed! Don't trust them they are all liars or mouthpieces for the liars they serve because they do not serve the customer.

Serra= garbage customer service in my opinion. We will see them in court if I have my way and they will pay dearly for their lies, excuses and attempts to pass the buck all the while hurting the customers that keep them in business. Oh I had to edit this because I neglected to mention their false claim of a 4.7 star rating on their website. Just look on the Internet and not their site to debunk their claim.
