In response to MrK***'s complaint, we have reviewed the vehicle historyWhen they purchased the vehicle we installed the
Mazda Ipod integration module in the vehicle on August 7,The first headlight the customer had replaced was drivers side low beam on October 26,with 59,milesThe customer had a second drivers low beam headlight replaced on December 28, with 86,milesThe bulb was beyond the month/12,mile warrantyThe customer had the passenger side low beam headlight on 4/27/the mileage was 95,The customer had the battery replaced on 4/27/the mileage was 93,The battery had been in the vehicle for year and monthsAgain outside of the year, 36,mile warrantyThe drivers low beam headlight had to replaced on March 27,the mileage was 119,Again over the months, 12,ooo mile warrantyOn March 2,the customer said the battery was going deadWe diagnose that there was a draw on the room circuit fuseWe told the customer further diagnosis was needed and they declined further diagnose at that timeThey returned on April 3,to have us diagnose the draw furtherWe found the Audio head unit causing the drawNot the Ipod integration moduleWe quoted the replacement part and labor and the customer declined replacementThe Mazda year/36,mile basic warranty covers the battery, headlights and Audio unitAs you can see, these components were beyond the warranty limits when they were replaced or diagnosed badThat being said after we reviewed his extensive service history with us we decided to cover the replacement of the audio head at no cost to the customerWe called MrK*** and informed him of our decisionHe was very satisfied with the solution

I will respond with a satisfactory response as soon as the work is completed, but I don't want to mark it as 'satisfactory' until work is completed
They did call me and arrange to get things fixed, but I have not heard back this week

we replaced the audio head unit on Mr K***'s CXtodayWe rechecked the electrical system and there was no parasitic drawThe vehicle is operating as designed

They replaced the head unit in our CX-They have let me know the parasitic draw is gone and I will keep an eye on thisI did notice the iPod cable was still in the vehicle (But I presume that's OK)

Sorry that we did not respond earlier a simple over sight on our part. I have contacted [redacted] on Saturday 9/9/17 and will review the history and work with her on a solution.
