The owner of SERVPRO of Bowie (Josepina B***) along with her assistant Smita B [redacted] met with the daughter of complaint [redacted] who refused to come down into the basement area were we have pictures of the damagesMs [redacted] stated she is representing her father [redacted] [redacted] do to his work schedule does not permit him available during the morning hours, which Ms [redacted] signed and authorization for SERVPRO of Bowie to remove and remediate the loss to the home for the hot water heater leakageMs [redacted] also stated verbally to the owner to remove and discard everything before the technician came back to start the discarding of anythingPer the homeowner insurance company adjuster [redacted] with [redacted] gave approval for completing the water mitigation in the home but any mold remediation will be responsible of the homeownerThe owner of SERVPRO of Bowie spoke with Ms [redacted] that we will address her loss as a water loss, which we scheduled her work to begin the next day.Ms [redacted] allowed the technicians into the home September 21, to start the discarding of the furniture in the basement but do to the weather the technician came back September 26, to complete the discarding for the contents in the basement areaAgain do to the weather we had to come back again September 28, to finish up the discard of the content which remained on the premises for several days in the backyardBecause the yard was to saturated with water the SERVPRO of Bowie person MrW [redacted] who hauls away debris was not able to pick up the damaged contents for the wetness of the lawn for his truck to come up on the lawn, so MrW [redacted] came onto the premises October 3, to pick up the debris with the help of the SERVPRO of Bowie technician when they return to pick up the equipment the same timeIf Mr [redacted] had any concerns of his contents being removed from his home, they remain on his property from September 21, all the way to October 3, the day they were hauled awaySo we are not liable for any items removed per the approval from his daughter [redacted] signing giving SERVPRO of Bowie authorization to perform service rendered which we completed their clean up as a water loss verses a mold job so her insurance would cover their lossIf Mr [redacted] wants any refund or rectification this needs to come from his daughter [redacted] who gave SERVPRO of Bowie full authorization to remove and complete the MOLD remediation that was completed as a water mitigation Sincerely, Arkeatha R***
