*** ***, The information you have presented is inaccurateI did not present myself as anything other than a project manager. I provided a general contractor to pull the required permits on your property. I also paid the Douglas County permit fee and the Douglas County
licensing fee for that general contractorI have been doing contracting work in the state of Colorado since 1981. The projects that I have worked on are numerable. I have many previous and current customers that have been very happy with the results and my work over those years. The first contractor I started with in is still in business here in Colorado You conveniently left out of your complain the issues we had with your missing site plot records that apparently burned in a fire in Additionally, in the midst of the survey confusion we agreed to complete awork which was completed at your request in an effort to move things along for you. Originally, your budget was 20% lower than it had been after the add on's. You were provided with engineered plans from a licensed engineer that was brought to the project by me under contract. We designed the entire project and worked with you on project design and revisions as per Douglas County Code. Had the proper licensing not been in place, Douglas County would not have accepted your plans for review. We were not allowed to complete the work on your property. I was told not to contact you in any way by your husband after waiting for you to respond to your change of contractor without any notice. I was standing at the permit counter in Douglas County that afternoon when we were told you had been there early that morning. Again, there was no notice. I waited for you in Parker for a response to my questions for approximately hours. I was making myself available to understand what the issue was. I was told via text message that I should not attempt to contact you in any way and that the next correspondence would be in the form of a letterThat letter was never received. Had you sent it to the address you say is fake, I would have received it. Instead you choose to conduct a witch hunt. If you had tried to contact me instead of trying top demonize me you could have had your issues handled professionally I wish you the best of luck*** ***

*** ***, You paid a non refundable deposit on your project. Immediately after you signed your contract you began changing the contract by bringing in family contractors who performed work off the contract Additionally, during the process of the framing which was completed in your
home, you pulled additional items out of the contract namely the Plumbing, which you were demanding be done out of order before the framing was complete. We advised you that it was out of order you had the new contractor show up anyway. Upon his arrival he told you the same thing The decision to alter our agreement and have us be responsible for others work was never discussed with us or agreed toI'm wondering how you think that framing an entire sq ft basement and first floor modifications with materials and labor could be worth $500.00. It only shows your reckless and inexperienced approach to your project by you Your assertion of fraud is something we have taken very seriously as it is completely falseBefore you start making accusations you might want to know if you're correct therefore not putting yourself in a libelous situation. You seem to be the type of person who cares little about what they say or do to anyone else as long as it serves your end goal. You have been given more than one opportunity to handle this issue professionallyApparently, your only goal was to take advantage of the people you hire. We hold open our options with regard to the issues at hand. I wish you the best of luck

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Once again *** *** is being completely untruthful. He never met one single milestone on the contract and still demanded another $15,000. He never, ever, even once, tried to get a permit filed with the City of Thornton. He misprepresented himself as a general contractor when I hired him and never, ever, did I receive a copy of a license to to business or a correct COI for the work to be performed on my homeI only received what looked like a real COI for him on the day that I terminated my contract with him.*** *** does not know what he is talking about saying that my "husband" directed all of the demo work without a permit. I do not have a husband*** ***, in fact, told me that a demo permit wasn't necessary*** ***'s general contractor did not pull the permit for any work. You will not see any other records with the City of Thornton for permits and payment that were not submitted and paid for by me.He never, ever, once, gave me an accounting of how the first $20,was spent before demanding another $15,000. No milestones were met, and framining certainly had not been completed. Had I continued to work with him, I would be homeless and farther in debt.My attorney informed me that it would cost me more to get my $20,back from *** *** than the initial $20,I paid him, hence I did not pursue legal action. My complaint to the Revdex.com to to prevent others from falling into the same situation with him that I did when siging a contract with this person or entity.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** *** is completely untruthful , misrepresents himself and is a bully. He did not complete any substantial work for the $20,that I gave him and even tried to extort an additional $15,from me before he could provide me the permit from the City, which was a milestone before additional payment was dueHe was never able to do thisHe refused to provide me with a detailed accounting of the $20,paid to him for my project when I requested it, and still has not to this day.I called the City of Thornton daily for two weeks to follow up on his supposed submission for a permt, but they never heard of *** *** or Services 5280. He was unable to provide with a copy of his business license or COI. He told me he was a general contractor when I hired him, and then when I wouldn't give him more money because he was unable to produce a general contractors license, said he was a consultant. He has no actual office; his business address is a UPS shipping store in downtown Denver. I hired my own subcontractors because it's my right as a homeowner, especially considering that he had done nothing except a very little bit of framingHe is using this as an excuse to say that I kept changing the plans. This is a complete fabrication. The only time he wanted to meet with me was not over the project, just to get more money from me and not do anything. Whenever we did have plans to meet, he had excuses that he was either out of town or his his truck broke down. *** *** is a thief and a bully. Sincerely,
*** ***

*** *** *** hired me as a project manager to help him convert a garage on his property to a separate living space and after numerous changes and delays a room additionVarious licensed contractors including engineers plumbers and HVAC professional were to *** *** property to get
through the planning and home owner permitting of his project Design decisions for the project were a source frustration as there was not at times an agreement of his household membersRegardless we continued through the process with *** *** until he asked me to cancel the contract When I asked to have a discussion about it he replied that there was nothing to talk about and that as far as he was concerned we were even I again requested that we discuss the situation because I felt he had funds coming back to him He initially refused again At one last point he mentioned the amount of $to settle the issue I had no contact with him after that point I have always and will continue to be willing to meet with *** *** to come to an agreement as to resolve the issue I have a list of very satisfied customers I have performed work for Not that it matters as every individual customer counts regardless of the experience of other customers I am requesting a meeting with *** *** to resolve the issue

Below is a reprint of the contractor license search page from the records of the office of Community Planning and Development of the City and County of Denver and shows the truth of the “Record” [redacted] refers to. Contractor LicensesOur office issues licenses and certificates, to both individuals and companies who perform work within Denver that requires a building permit or right-of-way permit. Before applying for a contractor license, an applicant must hold a trade-specific supervisor certificate or employ a supervisor certificate holder. License applications will not be accepted until supervisor certificates have been approved. [redacted] is, plain and simple not being truthful with the events as they occurred nor my handling of the situation.  She had several items completed on her project by a family member that were not permitted. Additionally her husband represented to us that he completed ALL of the demo work, also without a permit.  The work that was completed on her home was directed by her.  Under a general remodel permit all of this work becomes the responsibility of the General Contractor.  The contractor that was onsite completing the framing worked together with me for almost one year under he and I as a joint venture.  One of his responsibilities was to pull permits for job that were accepted and had that requirement.  This contractor which I will not name was also paid for the work performed on her home and for pulling permits. [redacted] was provided with a certificate of insurance from the contractor that performed the work. Her next payment was due for the next phase of work after we had completed her framing.  All offers to [redacted] for communication have been dismissed with similar slanderous comments and treats. She was also given the option of mediation which she refused.  I can only assume it would be because a neutral third party would need to hear both sides of the issue in an attempt to come to a constructive, if not amicable solution.  I understand this to be the work of the Revdex.com and respect the process.  I also understanding from her responses that she feels the results would not be so one sided as she would like.  Extortion is a very serious claim.  I'm not sure if [redacted] understands what the term defamation of character is however, I am protected by law and we will continue to weigh our options in that regard. I wish her the best of luck in the future.

Contrary to [redacted] beliefs the license information for those people conducting the work on his property is a matter of record.  I'm open to a conversation and supporting documentation to dispel what [redacted] thinks may be true. Its clear this has been the communication break down that I have been experiencing. Regardless, we are still open to discussing [redacted] claims and are ready to find a resolution that he thinks is fair and equitable.  We will attempt to contact [redacted] outside of this forum as he wishes.
