After working with Big Lots we contacted the customer on 6/8 and let her know that we would be able to exchange her sofa for a brand new one from Big Lots at no charge to her. She accepted and set up a delivery for the exchange on Monday 6/13. The exchange was completed on 6/13/16 at no charge.

Review: Hired this company to pick up and deliver our brand new stackable washer and dryer. I have a bit of a bad back and wanted to spare the pain I went through the last time being soar for days after crawling behind the old machine. They promised to deliver and completely set up our new washer and dryer for $75. After they came to install it, they told me they would not secure the venting as it was plastic (saying plastic is a fire hazard). They might have mentioned that before coming so I could have made sure we had metal venting. We then asked them if we got the proper venting would they come back to complete the job. They informed us there would be another delivery charge!!! Imagine if I was too handicapped to get back there paying yet ANOTHER INSTALLER? So, I had to once again crawl behind to install the venting thus doing the job I paid them fork MYSELF.Next morning we ran a hot load. Then went to take a shower and noticed there wasnt any hot water. Thought we may have used too much hot for the washer and figured it would recover in a half hour or so. We have a Hair Salon downstairs. Customers began to arrive, much to their horror of nohot water!!! I went down the basement to see that there was water raining onto the electrical parts of our $1500 vented water heater along with about a bucket worth of water on the floor. I called a plumber who asked if anything new was in the building. I brought him to the Washer and Dryer they had installed. Immediately he knew it had been improperly installed. The fittings where the washer was connected were loose. In fact so loose, he could tighten them with just a turn of his wrist!!! The water had been slowly leaking into the wall, into to the ceiling on the first floor, affecting the light fixture in the salon. then into the floor, behind the walls and through the basement ceiling. By morning it had dripped onto the electric socket that supported the water heater, knocking it off.The clients scheduled to come in had to be moved, and luckily they were willing to move their appointments. If it had been on Wednesday, we would have had a full day of bookings and we would have lost thousands of dollars!During the day, we cleaned and dried out all affected areas and ran space heaters, but the hot water heater kept cutting off. We scheduled the plumber to come back early in the AM on Wednesday to hopefully be able to get it running or get a new water heater installed. The job would have been anywhere from $80 for a service call to up to $1500 to replace the water heater.Once again, we got lucky and miraculously at around 7 pm, after drying out the surrounding area thoroughly, trying one last time the water heater fired and kept running.Damages (other than clean up and frustration) Not sure if there will be any remaining electrical problems) are just what we had to pay the plumber. $84.40 + $75.00 x , since they did less than half a job in your install. = $121.90We are requesting this money from them and feel it is MINIMUM of what the damages could have been when considering a potential loss of clients and clean up. We also think this could have been much more expensive if we hadnt found it and acted so quickly!!!Desired Settlement: Damages (other than clean up and frustration) Not sure if there will be any remaining electrical problems) are just what we had to pay the plumber plus 1/2 of what we paid them for installation. $84.40 + $75.00 x , since they did less than half a job in your install. = $121.90

Service Delivery was called by this customer to inquire if we would deliver their newly purchased Washer and Dryer set from American TV as they were going out of business and didn't offer a delivery service to them. We agreed and told them it would be $75 for delivery and set up. When delivery / setup was taking place the delivery team noticed that the customer had plastic venting and informed the customer of company policy which is that we don't hook up plastic venting because it is a fire hazard (it even states that in some manuals for dryers). As a delivery company that does a lot of wash dryer delivery / setups we realize that a lot of houses still use the plastic venting so we carry metal / aluminum flexible venting and clamps on every truck when we do these deliveries that can be purchased by the customer. This customer was offered and declined purchasing venting from our team at time of setup. The delivery team then completed what they could which included connecting and tightening the hoses for the washer, plugging it in, testing the washer and checking for leaks. No leaks were determined and the washer was tested and working. Later that day the customer called the office and asked if they were to go out and buy the correct metal venting could our team come back and connect it for them. They were informed that we could come back out for another delivery fee after they purchased the correct venting which they could have done at the time of original install but declined. The customer was displeased with that answer and ended the phone call.
