I spoke with Phil over the phone, set up an appointment for him to come to my house, look at my dryer that wasn't workingUpon initial appointment set up nor any time, zero trip charge was mentionedPhil came to my home, looked at my dryer, said it would be roughly $to fix my dryerI declined his repair, it cost as much as a new dryerHe then said well then I'll just take $for trip chargeWe discussed that he had never mentioned a trip charge at all, he said that "You should just know about that, it shouldn't have to be mentioned." I disagreed, saying it was not agreed upon, I wouldn't have had him come if I'd known about thisHe again stated the $dollars was due, and would not leave my houseFinally, I told him I didn't have any checks to get him out of my houseI told him I would pay him later because I was a woman, alone in my house, with a strange man displaying frightening behavior being reluctant to leave my home without a payment not agreed upon priorWrong

My dishwasher wouldn't finish it's cycleThe repairman quoted me $He said it was a control panel that was badA week later he comes over to do the repairPuts the part in; while in the middle of the repair, he stops and puts my old part in the new part box and leaves the house to put that in his carI have years of service work n C/SServicing heaters, sprinkler systems etcWhat he did was steal my partThe way he did, it in the middle of the job, was very suspicious!Now he's finished, I paid him, he leftHe never stayed around to see if his repair workedIt didn't! As a matter of fact it was responding the way it did before he allegedly repaired itCall him and he comes backWhat the problem turned out to be? It was a fuseA FUSE! The most fundamental and basic tenet in troubleshooting!
How does one troubleshoot an electrical appliance? These are the first steps: A) check for power supply to the unit, if that's okay, B) Check the fuseThis guy ripped me off

Service First Appliance provided immediate feedback and thoughts on a situation we had with our washer After giving us some suggestions and discussing it further, we were able to determine a service appt was not needed at this time There are not many companies that will help prior to an appt and service fees We will call on Service First again with any appliance issues and recommend them to others***
