Wait Until you Have a Problem Then You Know You're Dealing With Crooks!

Customers Beware of Crooks at Service First!
I took my vehicle to Service First Automotive on 8732 Harmon Rd for quick oil change. They caused a major damage to my vehicle by cracking the oil pan in attempt to loosen the oil filter cap. Knowing that they had damaged my vehicle, no employee there summoned the courage to let me know what had happened until I grew tired of waiting. Nearly all other customers who arrived after me had been taken care of one after another while I was still waiting. I asked the front desk, “Why wasn’t my vehicle ready?” and the receptionist told me, “Maybe they are waiting on the parts.” Minutes later a technician came and asked me to follow him to the basement. There he showed me the damage. He stated the previous shop that worked on my vehicle was responsible because they had tightened the oil filter cap too tight, way above specification. They persuaded me to talk to the previous technician who worked on my vehicle but I told them commonsense should tell the burden of responsibility is on them not on previous technician. Then the service advisor, Mr. Michael and the shop manager Mr. Danny both turned the blame on me claiming I was responsible because they had told me it was too tight but I still gave them permission to work on my vehicle. They intended to hand me the key with the vehicle still dripping oil and asked, “If I need a ride home?” When I refused to be intimidated they reluctantly opted to find a rental car for me. Mr. Michael made it clear they could only pay for the rental car pass Tuesday (only 4 days only) as they did not care if I have a car to move around with or not after. I said so long my vehicle is ready. Bottom line, I had spent hours waiting for a bunch of grownups to do the right thing only to no avail. It was like forcing the horse to drink. None of them had any moral compunction to take responsibility for their wrongful action. Then they towed my vehicle to the Delearship “as if acting on my behalf” because the Delearship called me days later stating my vehicle would cost $3900.00 to replace the damaged oil pan. They abandoned me to my fate as I had to pay for my own rental vehicle for several more days after the expiration of 4 days. They, Service First, refused to pay for the damages without having to share the cost with me. I asked to speak to upper management but they said they were all aware of the problem and only agreed to share the cost with me but I refused. I will continue to alert other customers of their crookedness through social media, investigative journalism, Revdex.com, and other media outreach options. I have never been treated like a dirty rag like these people did to me. This is just the beginning!
