The Board of Directors of Independence HOA has a set board approved policy for distributing pool passes.  A copy of a notice mailed to all owners on 4/1/16 is attached.  The mailing tells owners that all applications must be postmarked by 4/30/16 to ensure they received pass in time for...

the pool opening.  All applications after that date require a prepaid late fee of $25 and it is not guaranteed that passes will be received by pool opening.  The application for [redacted] was received on 5/23/16 and passes were mailed out to her on 5/26/16.  The passes are individually printed for each person.  These are not handwritten passes.  [redacted] came into our office at 4:45pm on June 3rd.  She was originally told that Dana was out of the office.  Dana was onsite at Independence HOA.  She arrived back at the office while [redacted] was here and went up to the front of our office to help her.  Dana again explained the Boards policy and that we could not just reissue passes.  Dana asked that [redacted] let her know if she did not receive the passes in the mail over the weekend.  Dana has sent [redacted] an e-mail dated today 6/6 inquiring if she received her passes in the mail this weekend.

Response to complaint #[redacted].The owner did wait a month before letting us know there was an issue and there was an extended illness with the vendor that did the seal coating project.  [redacted] Paving was out on 10/21/15  and blacked out the visitor designation on the owners parking...

Customer Service never answers their emails unless you have to call them so many times. It's not the first time I need to get information from this property management company. Since they are my community's HOA management office, I have no control from that. The first time was a few years ago that I had to get the disclosure package for house buyers, it took almost a week to be able to reach them. This time, my new property also is having this SFMC for HOA. I have never received any HOA coupons or any information from them over 2 months since my house been settled. I sent out email 4-5 days ago and still haven't heard back a single word from them.

FRAUD ALERT!!! For financial management services, our neighborhood is being charged 70% more than other companies in the area who would offer the same services - and more - would charge us. We are a community of 28 townhomes with no amenities, and we pay $125 a month in HOA fees for each home, which is a total of $42,000 a year. For 2015, this company is projecting that we will be paying $8,000 for financial management services. Other companies I have researched charge $2,500 for the same services. Money is being mismanaged and we are being overcharged.
