Hello David,

We received a call from you on 3/14/20 with a complaint about your ice maker and water dispenser on your GE refrigerator not working.

We scheduled an appointment for 3/17/20. Our technician came on time and looked at your refrigerator. He found out that water doesn't flow to the refrigerator from a wall pipe and it was a reason why there wasn't any water and ice in fridge's ice maker. As appliance repair co with license for appliance repair (#XXXXX) we repair only appliances. Your issue with water is a plumbing issue and that's why our technician asked to call a plumber. We do not have a plumbing license and do not deal with plumbing issues.

We did our job as requested - our technician came, spent time to figure out what is the reason for it and gave you correct and professional advice. We understand that you didn't know the issue with your refrigerator and called us. Our technician has to be present to evaluate an issue, we don't have a crystal ball. There could be multiple reasons for fridge's malfunction and our technician has to be there in person to evaluate it. We also informed you in advance that our service call is $65. Our technician came, spend time to figure out what the reason for it and gave you correct professional advise. We've been in business for a long time and have a good records, so "bait and switch" is not our strategy, our reputation is more important for us.
