I am rejecting this response because:
Thank you for your attention to this matter.In reference to their claim that I was told to keep my pets off the carpet for hours, I specifically ask the two gentlemen doing the cleaning about the dogs and I was told by both of them that there was no risk of a reaction.The manager had no way of knowing what they said so it comes down to my word against the two boys that were here.I have since had my dog on a second round of medication and still believe I should be compensated for the expenses incurred.Thank you,*** ***

On August 15th this company arrived at my apartment to clean my carpets I specifically ask the two gentlemen that showed up to do the job if any of the product they were going to use on our rug was toxic or harmful to my pets, I have two small dogsThey both assured me that the product that they use was pet safe and I did not need to be concerned Immediately after the job was finished I allowed my dogs to walk across the carpeting and they both developed a severe allergic reaction to the chemicals they had usedI called the company and requested the MSDS sheets to find out what type of chemicals they had used on my carpet and inform them that my dogs were having an allergic reaction They emailed me the information and it stated there in bold letters that the chemical they used was extremely toxicI ended up having to take my dogs to the vet they had to be put on steroids and anti-inflammatory medication I have requested the company reimburse me for medical and veterinarian

We did clean the carpet for this customer.  Upon a meeting with the employee that was there to clean I found that the customer was informed not to let the dogs on the carpet for 24 hrs.  In the statement she says that as soon as we left she allowed her pets on the carpet.  This may...

have caused the irritation for them.  We have never has a problem with pets and our carpet cleaning formula.The MSD sheets were sent to the customer as requested.  The MSD sheets do state the formula for cleaning and rinse can be an irritant to eyes, skin on contact, inhalation, and can cause stomach distress, nausea or vomitting when ingested.  It does NOT state that it is highly toxic.As with any product that is used in the home, we have no way of knowing how it will affect humans or pets on an allergen basis.  As I already stated, we have not had this problem before.I am sending the amount of the carpet cleaning back to the customer today.  I will not be sending the amount of the veterinarian bill because I do not believe there would have been any way that I could have predicted that these animals would have an irritation from the products we used.
