On 4-7-15 the customer requested and received service. She requested inspection of a toilet that she claimed was leaking. Our inspection showed that the toilet was not leaking. She was charged  and paid $59.00  for the dispatch fee only. See attached copy of our work order # [redacted]On...

4-9-15 the customer called again and requested immediate service as water was leaking from a ceiling almost continuously.  We rescheduled other customers and sent our plumbers to her condo within the hour.  Our plumbers determined  the best location to open the ceiling to inspect for the problem plumbing. They wrote the work description on the work order (see attached #[redacted]). The customer initialed the description of the proposed work and authorized the work with her signature. The work order clearly describes the size and location of the access opening.  Upon inspection our plumbers found a leak trail in the ceiling that led them to the next door neighbors condominium.  The neighbor allowed our plumbers access to an attic space where our plumber found the leak source.  There was no extra charge for this added service.  The leak source is a steel exhaust pipe from the heating equipment.  The roof leaks, during rain, because the equipment is not sealed well. Our plumbers took photos and showed the problem to the customer while they waited for our experienced roofer to  arrive and prepare a repair proposal for the customer.  We more than met the customers contracted for service. Please note her signature acknowledging the satisfactory completion of the described work.  It is obvious that she received excellent, professional service which was delivered in a timely manner plus additional services at no charge.  There is no refund or adjustment due this customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,

Home Depot was out here last weekend to appraise additional insulation for the attic.  They found no moisture.  Also, Puroclean checked the walls and ceiling today near the pipe mentioned and there was no moisture also.  I still believe that the leak is coming between the walls of my neighbors condo and my upstairs bathroom that are back to back. Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I called Roys Plumbing service{[redacted]]. The phone appeared to switched over. A man[[redacted]]answered. I indicated I was in need of a plumber . We talked for a couple of seconds and I indicated I would call back as soon as I could set up a time with the tenant. I called back and we decided on August 29 @ 11:00 am.I had another appointment therefore I left my check with the tenant [made out to Roy Plumbing] The plumber came and gave the tenant an estimate of the job. She did not understand the procedure so she had [redacted] call me. He explained the five options I had ranging from 900.00 -300.00 with the option of a warrenty. I chose the one for 472.00 and a warrenty of six months. He then told me my check was made out incorrectly .Since I was away from home I gave him my Charge card number. He further explain Roy was out of business and that they were having Roys phone calls transferred over to their phone to service Roys customer. I think this a case of fraud. If Roy is out of business that number should be disconnected; the other company should identify itself; as a customer I fell my number should be given out without my permission. At no time during this phone conservation did I get the impression that I was not speaking to Roys PlumbingDesired Settlement: Roys # should be disconnected and customer should be informed of such. Customer telephone # should not be automatically given out without our permission

Our advertising on the internet clearly lists our phone number and our company name as Bohmann Plumbing. This customer dialed our number as listed in our ad. Our plumber arrives in a 6 ton truck which clearly states our company name, Bohmann Plumbing in large black and red lettering. Our plumber wears a uniform that shows his name and our company name. Our invoices, work orders, and business cards all have our name printed on them. This consumer called our company and requested that we perform plumbing service. We performed the requested service as requested. The problem seems to be that she dialed the wrong number and that she was not on site to see our truck, plumber or paperwork. No one gave out her phone number without her permission. She called us and gave us her address and phone number when she requested service from our company. We have no business affilation with Roy's Plumbing.

I called Bohmann Plumbing to replace a fixture on my bathtub. I bought all of the parts, and just needed the water handle removed and replaced. They did not arrive until after 7pm. The technician said he stripped the set screw and would have to drill the set screw out. He said this would cost me $62 for the service call fee and then almost $500 to replace the fixture. I told him to leave, but still had to pay the service fee. My friend came over and removed the set screw and water handle in less than 10 minutes. [redacted] I will never call Bohmann Plumbing again.

Service was fine but they grossly over-charged to unclog a toilet. Required to pay before the work was done - $250 to snake the toilet and when that didn't work, another $475 to lift it off to find something in the trap. The service person was there for 2 hours and charged $750! I called the owner/manager and he insisted this was a fair price.

Don't hire this company! They completely ripped off myself and my 22 year old daughter. Only she was home when they arrived to clear a drain. They required her to sign papers that said the work was done BEFORE actually cleaning the drain. They charged over $800 and offered a warranty, but then claimed they couldn't fix the problem. I called and complained but the only thing they offered was $50 back. Another company (Oak Creek Plumbing) later came out and did the job for less than half of what Bohmann charged me. The guy they sent said the Bohmann guy either did not know what he was doing or he intentionally ripped me off.

Review: The work was done but was told that would b using all new parts....not only were they NOT new parts, they used the material that I had recently purchased.....also took parts from premises without authorization from anyone...this is an unethical practice and I must say I will NEVER use them again NOR Recommend these people to be inside ANYONE'S home.....And for what was done was OUTRAGEOUSLY CHARGED..,,,Desired Settlement: To at least knock off some of the material cost...and or reimburse me for the stolen materials....

Review: I paid Bohmann Plumbing $1049.00to fix a leaky bathtub faucet and clogged sink. They fixed the bathtub faucet but did not fix the sink. They snaked the sink but did not fix it. Because it is still clogged, I have to hire another plumber. For $1049.00, the plumber should have fixed something other than the simple tub faucet repair which he did not even require any parts. The owner was of no help.Desired Settlement: Refund of unclog the sink.

[redacted] was advised that conventional methods might not open her drain. She chose to have us try. After 30 minutes of conventional drain cleaning we noted that we were not having the success that all had hoped for. We advised that the best recommended repair would be to open the wall and replace the waste pipes to the sink. Ms. [redacted] refused that option and instead approved additional conventional cleaning for forty-five minutes.

Our work order states "In some cases, due to circumstances beyond our control..... the work proposed may not result in an open drain. Should this occur, you will be charged the full price of the above described work" After reading this language she initialed and agreed to the attempt. [redacted] was not at home to sign the work order for the additional drain cleaning but she gave agreement by phone and authorized her 18 year old daughter to sign for the additional service. The daughter also acknowledged the satisfactory completion on the described work, accepting that we had fulfilled our contract.

It is obvious that we did all of the work we were contracted to do and that the customer accepted that fact with her signature on the work order. We would still like to help this customer with her plumbing problem. We are willing to offer a gift certificate of $120.00 toward the repair we recommended which would be to open the wall and replace the waste pipes to the sink.

Review: Bohmann plumbing came to my house to solve a sewer drainage issue, It took a few days to resovle the issue, They were not up front with billing, They also billed for time they watied for equiptment to arrive. They also put a camera down my pipes and did not show me the dvd till they gave me the final bill, They also put heavy epuiptment to dig up the yard for a test hole to check the sewer lines. I said I needed a second opinion and they left and did not give me a final bill until the following mon when the plumber called me and said he was coming over in 10 mins to collect the money, I told him to send me a bill, Later that afternoon a bill showed up in my mailbox with the cd of the camera that was put dowm my pipes. I believe they should have shown me the video right away. I believe they wanted to dig the hole without showing me the dvd. I shared the dvd with some people who are knowlegeable about pipes and they said I didnt need to replace the pippes. To make a long story short. I believe that Bohmann plumbing did not engage in ethical business practices. They wasted time getting different equiptment which was not needed. They broght in heavy epuiptment which was in my driveway before they even put the camera down the pipe. I believe that they did this in order to inflate the final bill. He should have had showed me the cd and have me decide if he needed to dig the test hole.Desired Settlement: I did pay the final bill. I dont think I can bit get a refund because they did finish the job, They did perorm the service but they did so in an unethical manner. I would like the public to know what happened to me. I dont believe others should use this service.

Review: I had a plumber come to the house and it was a nightmare. The plumber started unnecessarily banging on a pipe with a hammer, broke it and then tried to tell me I had to pay to get it fixed. I tried to talk to the owner who just hung up on me. I originally wanted them just to do a simple roto-rooting job. The plumber gave me an estimate more than 200% more than any other estimate. I tried to calmly talk to the owner of the business who just hung up on me. The y left us with no water or plumbing and I had to pay for emergency plumbing from a more reputable business.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the labor and part Bohmann broke through their carelessness. I would like an apology from the owner who hung up on me.

You hired a man, [redacted], who is a plumber. He arrived at your home at your invitation on Thursday at 4:20 PM. When he arrived at your home he confirmed that you were aware of our $59.00 service call fee that is free with recommended work done. You told him about your basement sewer which had backed up around your floor drain. [redacted] explained that he would be opening the sewer cleanout fitting to determine the best course of action to solve your sewer problem. He attempted to open the sewer cleanout fitting with a wrench applied to the fittings protruding head by tapping and twisting to unscrew the plug. As a result of this conventional service, your aged and deteriorated 4” diameter plastic cleanout plug shattered.

Review: I have been having plumbing issues for a while. I contacted Service-Now Bohmann Plumbing,Inc. I believe there is a leak above the back door which leads in to my garage. I requested that they open the garage ceiling to check for leaks. A technician said they could open the ceiling just inside the back door to view any leaks. The hole they cut did not reach the garage. They suggested that there is a leak in the roof over the garage.I was charged $461 and did not receive the work that I had asked for.

I am still having issues with water problems.

Sincerely,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I believe that my request was not met, and that I should get a full refund.
