Service On Site Reviews (8)

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with; ever! Being in the service business I know how challenging it is to deal with OEM's and clients; however, the experience encountered with Service On Site has been horrendous We are headed into day without a washing machine Part of the challenge has been obtaining parts, to which Service On Site did not have complete control over and relied on the warranty company, Warrantech I would not recommend that company either and filed a claim with the Revdex.com and CA's BEAR However, here are a just a few things representative of Service On Site: they did not show up three times; have not been truthful about part deliveries; committed to return calls but did not; found an additional part needing to be replaced on day 22, which should have caught the first day they showed up for the service call, which even the tech admitted; replaced of parts only to show up two days later with the parts installed prior instead of the final part needed; etc In hindsight, I would have paid out of my pocket to fix the problem rather than work with Service On Site To top it off, the owner is extremely unprofessional and makes excuses for everything Even his techs complained about him when at our house I would never recommend this company to anyone By no means is *** a flawless review site, but Service On Site has reviews and of the are star That should tell you something

Review: Paid service on site for parts and service. Paid by check because company was in transition with credit card co. Check for $525.00 was cashed with no service performed. After several attempts calling to check on progress I was told parts were ordered. Now when calling business phone number is no longer in service.Desired Settlement: I am going forward legally to put a stop to this so called company from existing.

Sincerely,

Review: the owner of Service on Site, [redacted], arrived at my hotel to repair a washing machine at aprox 8pm.. It has a broken knob that wouldnt turn and I simply needed it replaced or working.. I paid 275 for this service.. the following morning my washing machine flooded my entire basement, and the knob was still stuck and he had put a screw through the front of it. I called to have him come back to fix it. This man said the F word to me no less then 15 times and said its my fault for not checking his work before he left. I explained that I called him 12 hours later when I attempted to use the machine and being that it is not completely unusable I want it fixed or I will dispute the amex charge.. He told me F amex and he'll tell them Im a crazy b.. He then called me a B 5 more times and said he was going to throw a brick through my window and how do I [redacted] like that. This man knows I live on site with my baby and threatened to harm us.. He should not be in business. he not only made my appliance issue worse, did not attempt to resolve it and psychically threatened me with harm with retalliation to the disputed charge.Desired Settlement: what I paid. 275

Review: He came to my home and said I needed 2 parts for my GE electric dryer and said he would have parts in a couple of days. It is now going on 2 weeks and no response. Gave him a credit card in mar. Of $135.70Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: A repairman arrived to fix a coffee machine.Upon inspecting for 2 minutes he was confident that it needs a switch which he was going to order and Finnish the repairs in about a week.My phone call to check on the mater were unanswered and only a threat to a Revdex.com report made them call me and just say that they can't get the part and that's that, tough luck.I believed that they weren't upfront w me,deceiving and the took $109 without providing any service.Desired Settlement: Refund in full

Sincerely,

Review: The [redacted], checked my washing machine on 12/**/13 and diagnosed the problem. He presented an itemized bill and told me that he would order the necessary part and get back to me with it in 2 days. I paid him $235.76 in check form, which has been cashed. I have called the number on the receipt (same telephone number I used to reach him on 12/**) countless times, there is no answer, it just rings.Desired Settlement: The machine was repaired on 1/*/14 by another service company, so I would like a refund of $235.76.

Sincerely,

Review: I called Service on Site to repair my daughters Thermadore Oven broil element. [redacted] said he was a licensed authorized Thermadore repair service. He told me the diagnosis of the problem would cost $100, that he would order the part when he got there, and charge about $65 for the repair when the part came in. He said he would arrive on a Monday (Veterans Day when my daughter was off and my son-in-law, a veteran would be there. [redacted] said that he would arrive between 12 and 2. He never came and called later saying he was too busy but he would be there the next day at 12. The next day he didn't show until 3:30 and spent 10 minutes basically doing nothing with the oven but getting the serial number and type. Then he told my daughter it was $125.00 not $100. He insisted on immediate payment and then told her to order the part herself. The $25 overcharge is not much but illustrates the "bait and switch" mentality of this man. Also he was supposed to order the part not my daughter!!! I tried many times to call him about this but his mailbox was always full and took no messages. He finally called me today and was rude and obnoxious saying he didn't have time for this conversation. This is evidently not a legitimate business but a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like my daughter's $125 plus tax of $10.79 equaling $135.79 returned since he did nothing. I already had the model number of the oven and the serial number. He never ordered the part and did no diagnostic testing as he said he would on the oven. I had to call in another repair service who came within the hour but now have to pay $300 more to have this fixed.
