When I called on Friday to get a update he said it should be done around 5pm and when I asked if he fixed the hesitation with the acceleration he said it wasn't hesitating. He then said would call me when car was done. 630 comes and no call so I got a ride down there and when I got there and asked what happen he said he finally got the car to hesitate but couldn't fix it at the time and didn't want to call me with bad news and I said I have to work can I still drive car and he said yes. I said ok let's pay for what u have done and I'll bring it back later. He then said it was 1150.00$ now to pay and not 750$ and said why he said well I had replaced the water pump the rings and other stuff and charged 4hrs of labor so it came out to 1150$ not the 750$ and I said I only gave permission for the timing belt and oil leak nothing else and he said well I figured u needed it so I did it and he refused to give the keys back. I ended up paying 1000$ total just get the car back but now my engine light is on and not fixdDesired Settlement: I want a refund for the extra money paid the difference of the 750$. I also called the original owner and he said he hasn't been involved with the shop for over a year and [redacted] the new manager lied to me and said he was so that he could get my businesses. I need my car fixed but will not go back to this place since I was ripped off and lied too. [redacted] needs to stop saying [redacted] is still part owner and involved with the shop.
