PPS is not part of Service Payment Plan, Inc. This is an entirely separate business. It appears this customer did a search on-line and obtained improper company information. When she E-mailed the help desk for Service Payment Plan, Incour staff could not find her account
because she is not a Service Payment Plan, Inccustomer. She is a customer of Payment Plan Services, LLC which offers an interest free payment plan for the purchase of Tires to Canadian Customers. Our records show we have been collecting payments in accordance with the payment schedule selected by Ms***. Details are as follows:10/29/initial payment $328.57Customer elected payments on the 30th day of the month and we have taken the following: 11/30/$184.5812/30/$184.5802/01/$(Jan 30th was a Saturday so we run them the next business day)02/29/2016 pending $184.5803/30/2016 pending $(this will be the final payment) PPS cannot control when a customer's bank will settle the funds. I can only confirm the day we transmit the file. I called Ms*** and also emailed her but she did not return my call or respond to my email. I am rejecting this response because: All taxes are refundable on a returned sale, no matter what type of sale. The taxes should have been accrued and recognized as time goes by as any other deferred revenue sale. The accrued taxes should be refunded based on the amount of sales that we returned and deffered

SPP is a payment processor for [redacted] Service Contracts.  We collect the payments for them.  When a contract cancels they determine the unearned cancel % and fee and we refund the customer accordingly.  I have contacted Ally regarding the sales tax refund and they responded...

since the contract cancelled mid stream it is not refundable.  They are researching further and will get back to me.  I will update this complaint again once I have more information.  Again, SPP does not handle this matter and the complaint is against the wrong party.

The vehicle service contract was cancelled for non-payment. The final payment was due 10/5/2013 and left unpaid. We called Ms. [redacted]...

on 12/3/13 regarding the unpaid payment and left a voicemail. The customer never returned our call and never paid the payment. The policy subsequently cancelled in December 2013. Ms. [redacted] is due a PRORATA refund in the amount of $1,017.64 from the selling dealer [redacted] and has been told this more than once. SPP issued a credit to Dan Vaden for our portion of the refund on 1/14/2014. It is imperative Ms. [redacted] talk with the General Manager at [redacted] regarding the refund due. SPP is not responsible for the refund due Ms. [redacted].

After this response [redacted] has finally mailed my check and I have cashed it. This complaint is now settled.

As previously advised THE SALES TAX (IF REFUNDABLE) is due from the seller NOT SERVICE PAYMENT PLAN.  Please contact [redacted] at [redacted] and inquire as to whether or not the sales tax is refundable.  Unless, those funds are paid to SPP by [redacted] we do not have the money to refund to you.  We are the payment processor, we do not handle the cancels only the payments.
