Service Rentals & Supplies, Inc. Reviews (2)

Aloha Mr***,
It has been brought to
our attention that you have recently filed a complaint with the RevDex.com (Revdex.com) involving Service Rentals & Supplies, Inc. You are a valued customer and we strive to do
our best to serve our customers
You mentioned two
equipment which were used at your job site.
The first rental was the scissors lift which was rented from 12/2/
thru 1/8/16. This was billed on rental
contract #***, for a total of $1,583.74.
Payment was received in full on 1/15/16.
The second, rental
contract #*** was for the *** articulated boom lift. It is this rental contract that is in
question. Original dates of the contract
you signed was 12/28/to 12/30/in the amount of $825.93. The actual date of the contract was from
12/29/to 12/30/15. I have corrected
the dates. This has changed the balance
to $568.94. As of this moment, the
rental contract remains open and the final closing of this contract has not
been determined.
I want to apologize to
you as Jon was assigned to work off island at our Kona location during this
time and not available to you. Milton,
another member of our sales team assisted while Jon was away
In speaking with Milton,
a job site assessment was done.
Unfortunately, our four-wheel drive lifts would not be able to fit
safely and the *** articulated boom lift was suggested, with the
understanding that it would only be able to work on 75% of the building as the
ground was compacted and could support the lift. The *** would not be able to be used at
the back of the building. This area was
at the time being trenched to fit pipes that were being laid. At the time, per Milton, you agreed that you
would be able to use the lift to do most of the work with the exception of the
back portion
On 12/29/15, our service
department received a call at approximately 4:00pm from you that the lift had
stopped working and you were unable to bring the lift down. Service mechanic responded and found the
lift’s wheel was stuck in a divot in the dirt at the back of the building. The service mechanic found that the sensor
which monitors the level of the lift was tripped, causing the lift to stop
operating. This is a safety feature on
the lift. He was able to reset the
sensor and bring the boom lift down, and drive the lift out of the divot. He was informed that you were done with the
lift and drove it to the front of the building to be picked up
We would like to resolve
this matter with you, please let contact myself, or Melvin H***, GM-Dirof
Operations at ***
With Best Regards,
Josephine H***
