Dear Mr***, This is in response to the complaint by *** *** We were called to Ms*** residence because she had a water issue she needed taken care of When I arrived I was told that another company had begun the work but left when her insurance claim was
denied She asked for my help Our company prepared a basic estimate for repair and worked with insurance company and the claim was approved When the claim was approved I brought a wood floor contractor to the property to measure and give an estimate Ms*** asked him to measure the living room and dining room that were above the scope set by the insurance company This means that additional money above the insurance proceeds was going to be needed When the estimate came back she decided she did not want to spend extra money When the schedule was discussed with the flooring contractor said he was booked into August and he provided a tentative start date When we got to that date he said he was delayed finishing another job This is out of my control but this set Ms*** off The installer ran short of material and scheduled a day to return with the homeowner as he had some prior commitments and Ms*** was going to be out of town I arrived on the scheduled date to be blasted by Ms*** for not communicating among other issues The other issues were things that could not be done until the floor was complete I completed them that day Also on that day when I arrived there was another flooring contractor there that was supposed to do work in basement That project was also not going according to her plan Now for her complaints about scope of work None of this was an issue until we asked to be paid! -I am the one that brought to her attention that the caulk on the counter top across the room from the other counter tops was lighter in color I asked if she would like me to change it to a darker caulk, she said no it would be fine-The base in her entry closet and laundry closet were damaged during removal and discarded This happens as the home is over twenty years old and the base can be dry and brittle The base was replaced with a close match as a perfect match cold not be achieved as as her original color may have faded over time-If there are issues we would work to get them repaired but when I left the last time all was fine until she was sent the bill-I am unsure about wires to security system, if that is an issue we would work to repair it if we damaged it-There were some items that she was demanding be fixed that were not on the scope of work and that we did not charge for-Replacing baseboard and quarter round was not on the scope of work Reattaching base was and it was completed-She chose to change the color of her floor The insurance company does care about that but are not willing to pay for base and quarterround that don't match because she changed the color of the floor-The cabinet with the crack down the side (which is really a joint between her cabinets and her existing drywall) was not on our scope of work Is there a fix for it? maybe To wrap this up, we will do what is necessary within the scope of work to satisfy Ms*** We will need to get paid in full for the work completed before we go backI believe Ms*** is creating some of these issues to get out of paying her bill I was there She said all was fine and sent me away We issued our invoice and then everything became a problem If she would like to review the scope of work and invoice I would be glad to schedule a time Thank you Ray *** Project Manager Service Restoration ###-###-#### ***

"I was told that my second floor could be put back together for 20,000." We had agreed to $20,or the cap of your insurance payoutYou are legally required
to pay your deductible so it should be $20,+ your deductibleThis is non-negotiable because it's a federal crime (insurance fraud) to negotiate around paying a deductible. "My text messages show that I agreed to meeting dates and times that were ignored." We explained that something had come up during the time you could meetWhen we tried to reschedule, nothing worked"For me to have to seek out trim that my contractor did not put on my wall is unprofessionalMe paying for bathroom flooring should have deducted from the total addedMy old toilet had been pulled so to complain about a new one being put on its place is questionable." Your work has far exceeded the scope of what was initially proposedWe are not going to continue working outside of the scope when we are already being threatened with having money withheld and being trashed online

1st Day arriving at the home of *** and *** ***: - Cody arrived the first day and moved contents, extracted the carpet, removed the wet carpet padding and and lifted the carpet to dry, set up dehumidifier and air movers 2nd Day of arriving at the home of *** and
*** *** to check on the drying process: - Upon arriving at the home to check on the drying Cody found the walls were still very wet and not drying down as expectedIdentified the water was deeper or sat longer than told to us, therefore the water leached (soaked) up the drywall higher one would thoughtCody removed piece of Tongue and Grove would that was attached angle (degree) over the drywall and verified that this was the situationCody explained to *** and *** that the tounge and grove wood that was installed at a angle needed to be removedDue to the amount of moisture trapped behind the wood in the drywall which was wet and if so it would be very sof and they will have drywall damage related to removing the wood tounge and groove wood*** said that would be OK and that he understood the situation*** asked Cody to leave the Tongue and Grove siding because he intended to reinstall it once everything was dryCody removed the boards and piled them up so that the tongue and grove wood could be dried back down along with the carpeting and the structural drying of the home. 3rd Day of drying at the home of *** and *** *** to check on the drying process:- Cody arrived and the carpet was dry and checked the structural framing which was as well dryCody wrapped up the equipment and applied the plant based anti-microbial

I am rejecting this response because:
this company is a piece of work and I will have the Revdex.com post that also I will continue to give you and this company bad reviewsI have already succeeded in stoping customers from using your coand will continue to do soI am also going to post pictures on your web site of the damage and you can say whatever you want

I've attached a copy of our estimate which turned into an invoice once the work was completeAs evidentthere was never mention of rebuilding the projectOur estimate very clearly lays out that we were only doing the mitigation portion for $4000. In addition to this, we tried to
deposit the client's check and our bank notified his check bounced

I've uploaded our response as a PDF file since it appears we're far exceeding the character limitPlease refer to that document

We have already explained the holes. It was consequential of having to remove the tongue and groove, the marks/holes were from using the wall as a leverage point with our tools to remove it.  Since we were only hired for the mitigation all repair work would be billed separately. If you would like us to repair the holes we would require a new contract to be signed agreeing that we are being hired for the rebuild as well.
