Service Master Fire & Water 8494 (of Elkhorn, Wisconsin) staff are all very professional, responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of their work and contractors are outstanding. Their attention to detail, their guidance and assistance during this total rebuild was invaluable. ServiceMaster made what originally seemed an overwhelming project a very simple and well explained process.
A water pipe in my home broke and approximately 90,000 gallons of water spilled into the home; everything was destroyed - only the studs remained. In the matter of only 4 month, ServiceMaster mitigated the water damage and oversaw the total rebuild of the home. This took dedication and coordination. The staff was very patient with all my questions and always responded - even to the smallest of details. Any concerns I had were immediately addressed and put to rest.
I would not have been able to do this without ServiceMaster and the assistance of Sharon Rosine and Bart Gaffney. It was a pleasure to do business with ServiceMaster Fire & Water 8494. I highly recommend their services.
We had a frozen pipe that burst and spread 3 inches of water all over the first floor of our house. We called ServiceMaster 8494 out of Lake Geneva/ Elkhorn to bail us out. [redacted] and [redacted] came immediately and we couldn't be happier with the results. They were quick, thorough and neat in all that they did. The insurance adjuster said that not all ServiceMaster franchisees are the same - this one is good!

This company, recommended as an option by my insurance company, proved to be a disappointment. One employee suggested my storm damaged water soaked ceiling was dry to acceptable standards based on the instrument the individual used to measure dampness, the other employee disagreed and suggested the individual was using the meter incorrectly. I suggested the ceiling was damp to the touch and I would remove the ceiling fan to prove it. The employee suggested it's dry and I should "just put a coat of paint on it." Another restoration company tested the same areas without removing any fixtures and the reading were well within the range of replacement - thankfully the insurance company did replace all the ceiling and damaged walls. Please make sure you ask the right questions if you choose to use this company, the fiscal difference in the claim was significant.
The service, cooperation and skill recently provided to us by Servicemaster of Elkhorn, WI was exceptional.
A downstairs “water disaster” was handled by very friendly and highly professional people who did what they said they would do and did it when they said they would do it.
We would not be more pleased with the results and would be certain to call [redacted] should the need arise again.
