I asked the Lawn Care Business to help with the condition of my Lawn last summer. In particular, I asked if they could concentrate on a 2 metre square area on my back lawn. Their reply was they would Aerate the lawn and overseed the patch on my back lawn. I was present when the technician performed the service. He did Aerate the lawn and over-seeded the patch. The company left directions to water the area in question , which I did, with no promise that the service would work. I thought at the time that the success of the over-seed depended on the customer keeping their end of the service ( water as directed ) which I did. As you might have guessed, there was no improvement in the area but was charged the full price of the service. $100 plus for 5 minutes of intervention. When I received the bill, I immediately called the local Saint John phone #. She took my complaint and my request to talk with the owner about my concern. I called 6 different times since last summer with my request but the owner/manager has not returned my calls. I wanted to discuss the possibility of paying for the Aeration of my entire lawn $150 and not the unsuccessful attempt of the over-seeding.$100 or so. I have been a previous customer with the company and have recommended them many times to neighbors. In the meantime, I have received 4 statements with interest amounts but no opportunity to tell my side of the numbers. I would like the possibility to discuss a solution but it has not materialized. I have pictures to back up my situation if the owner needed to see them. I made the offer to pay the$150 on the first statement but no reply. I just feel that paying for a service on such a small area of lawn and keeping my end of the bargain was a lose/lose situation.

*** Lawncare was not at his lawn in 2018.
He does owe us money but it is for work done in 2017.
We were there June 22/17.
We aerated his entire lawn and then applied 2 bags of topdressing to it.
We always tell customers when we do this procedure that there is no guarantee.
It all depends on them watering correctly.
The seed cannot be allowed to dry. It has to stay moist.
It is very successful if done the right way.
As far as the number of times he called the office neither myself or the other girl
who answers the phone remember talking to him.
At this time this customer owes us $276.15.
I am rejecting this response because: I did leave messages with a polite female who said she would forward my email and phone # to the owner to speak to him.I am sorry. I did state the wrong date . It was 2017 not 2018. When I did not receive any contact, I started requesting contact and explanation on the invoices and returning them in the mail. This is the first contact of any kind except invoices from *** through a third party. Can the owner kindly make a phone call or email to a unsatisfied customer ?
I was present during the entire service that day and spoke with the technician. He explained the responsibilities of the customer to water and water alot so the overseeding would be successful. I did but no change in the treated area. I know *** cannot be responsible for customer behavior but I faithfully followed the watering instuctions. This is the only part of the service in contention. As stated before, I am willing to pay for the aeration and the fertilization to resolve this complaint. Hard to think I held up my end but have to pay as well.
Please remember. I was a former satisfied *** customer long before this incident. I have kept photos and copies of returned invoices if *** wishes to see them.
