Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Am rejecting there response because they took the items in question out of my home , and they did not come back Troy G*** in phone conversation with me said they were looking for my rug,and my other items and I just needed to give them time to find them to empty the warehouse out , and in a email asked what it the rug looked like so that they would be sure that they had they right rug
As for many meeting??? what are they talking about they are lying I had my care case manager here at my home waiting for ServiceMaster to show up for a meeting that we had set they did not show up nor did they call , nor was there any conversation about trying to resolve this issue I called them when they were 45min's late and they said sorry we are not dealing with this any more we have turned it over to our insurance they are bald face liars Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: In every response they take no reasonability for the items lossEven thought the rug from the library was taken at the same time to warehouse as the navy and cream rugThe library rug came home You made it sound as if you had made efforts to make it right with me All you have done is string me along , we are looking for your belonging in our warehouse , let us get this big job done so we can make sure its not here Make lists of what is missing , look up prices on eBayall of which I did , and which you still have not gotten right its only one Indian necklace not two. Portland is flooded so are surrounded area no one in their right mind should use your company because of your policy of washing your hands of any reasonability of loss My belonging were not stolen , my home was not broken into , my caregiver did not steal from meYou lost a file cabinet of genealogy , books, a rug , and three pieces of jewelry and it was due to the fact that they did not have supervisor on the job he was on vacationYou can try to blame the me but my things left in boxes, and in your truck was stored at your facility and it has disappeared .I did not nor did my caregiver come to your facility and get in my boxes and pick out things. No matter how many behind closed door meeting you have to get your story straight it still comes down to the same thing You came to my homeyou lost my items you need to take care of the loss and, really when you look at the list of things its a small amount of boxes , could someone in your shop sent it to someone else house ?? please stop the blame game Sincerely,*** ***

Most of this complaint was addressed in our first response
As for the meeting, we were referring to the meeting we had internally with our company. I apologize, we did miss our appointment with you. Someone forgot to call and inform you that we had turned this into our insurance company
In no way have we lied to you. We have followed all the appropriate steps to resolve this issue

Timeline of events
5/19/15 – 5/20/15: First pack out - Boxed up items and brought back to SM storage.
8/12/15 – 8/13/15: Second pack out - Boxed up items and brought back to SM storage.
9/12/15 – Packed back all content
After going through her items the homeowner stated that she...

thought some things were missing. Troy instructed her to unpack all of her boxes (her caretaker and others helped her unpack) and then get back to him if she still cannot find the items. After unpacking all of the remaining boxes she notified Troy that she still felt that some items were missing.
9/23/15 – Troy G[redacted] met with homeowner at her home to try and locate any missing items.
None of the missing items were found. Troy told the homeowner to compile a list of all missing items.
10/2/15 – Homeowner emailed a list of all missing items with estimated prices. She claims there was a box of genealogy paperwork that she did not yet have a value on.
Troy told her we would review the missing items and get back to her. There were claims of an area rug and two Indian ceremonial necklaces that our crew claims were never packed up or stored at our facility.
10/9/15 – Homeowner emailed another list with prices for genealogy files. We told her we were going to have a meeting to go over the list and then get back to her.
10/19/15 – After many meetings and much discussion we decided to file an insurance claim and hand this matter over to our insurance company.
We feel that we have handled this situation just as is should be handled. We went through all of the proper steps before going to our final conclusion of handing this over to our insurance company. They have since contacted Mrs. [redacted].
We would like to resolve this matter but do not feel responsible for items which were never seen or taken from her house. There were other people in the home not affiliated with our company that also could have taken or misplaced items, we are not the only hands in this. This has been turned over to our insurance company and they will be handling it from here.
