Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because I never received any notice that I ever went over the amount that my insurance was to pay for repairs, I spent $4,of my own savings for items to be replaced from a house fire If my insurance gave me $57,to pay service master, and service master billed me $56,that only leaves me $to put back in my savings That's a far cry from the amount I pulled out of my savings to order product so that service master didn't have to make extra long trips out of their way to order these items for me I was a victim of a house fire with home owners insurance who was taken advantage of by a very well known large company
Sincerely,
*** ***

Service Master sent me 2 bills for the amounts of $20,903.42 & $35,437.10= $56,340.52. The invoice for $20,903.42 was for structure cleaning and demolition needed at the home before the repairs could be done. ServiceMaster invoiced the construction portion of this loss for a total of...

$57,028.18: $60,936.93 for the pre-loss condition (insurance covered) scope of work, $948.44 credit for the initial add-ons/trades scope of work, and $2,960.31 credit for work that the [redacted]’ chose to do on their own. There was also an invoice of $6,260.42 for packing, storing, and moving of their personal property, and $14,372.82 for cleaning of the same. A credit was later of $397.66 issued for the cleaning of a sofa that did not come clean. According to my insurance they allotted $8081.80 for flooring. I paid $8,727.00 for flooring. I should only have to pay for $645.20 of the flooring. ServiceMaster charged $5,927.27 for new carpet and vinyl flooring on the pre-loss condition scope of work. $111.01 of this amount was credited on the add-ons/trades scope of work. I paid $328.20 for my sink top, my insurance paid Service master $163.96 for the sink top. The only sink top on ServiceMaster’s scope of work was the upstairs bathroom vanity: ServiceMaster charged for the installation only at $80.43. The vanity top was installed. My insurance paid Service master $241.22 for shelving and closet rods. I bought and installed closet rods and shelving at a cost of $259.99. Leaving a difference of $18.77 which should be the amount I should pay of pocket, not the full amount. Closet shelf & rod was charged at $183.60 on the pre-loss condition scope of work; this was credited in the add-ons/trades scope of work after the [redacted] decided to do it themselves.
