Review: As part of an extended package, I purchase a yearlong lawn service agreement CSI Home & Commercial Services but I was encouraged to pay upfront for the best valued price. After discovering that I along with all of [redacted] would be furloughed from my job this summer, I contacted the CSI to request discontinuous of my service agreement. The Office Mgr. tried to talk me out of the request but eventually said it was my right to interrupt service but it was company policy to take all request to start and stop services in writing, either faxed or mail would be acceptable. So, I have faxed my request more than twice before the company acknowledged receipt but when I called to verify refund would be issued I was told only one person in the office the Accounts Receivable Clerk could process my refund and she wasnt available but that a message would be given to her. I have since called back more than six times that I have recorded (May 24th, Jul 11th, Aug 13th, Sept 20th, Oct 11th and Oct 19th) to check the status of my refund only to be told the Clerk was not available. Finally, when I called on the 11th Oct I was told a refund in the amount of $[redacted] was issued on the 10th Oct. This appeared to be fair since I place the request using the voucher supplied by CSI which indicated I had a credit of $[redacted]. I also verified my address was correct but then when no check arrived after 7 business days, I contacted the company yet again only to be told by the Office Manager, that maybe the check was lost because that happens sometimes but that she gladly pass the message to the Clerk who conveniently was out of the office. I called one last time this past Fri. 19th Oct when the person advised she could understand my concern but that she again couldnt help me and a message would be left for the Clerk and Office Manager. Every time Ive called CSI no one has returned my call. I am due a refund for services not received and as a tax payer of Virginia I would like your assistance in exposing CSI.Desired Settlement: My last statement indicated I had a balance of $113.00 when I cancelled this policy in writing. I would like that amount refunded to me immediately. I spent countless times on hold calling to a company that showed no concern for me during a financial difficulties of the governement furlough and even less during the shutdown. I paid upfront for services I didn't recieve and now I'd like my money back so I can pay bills for services I have recieved.

I spoke with [redacted] from the company and he says that the check was mailed out a couple of days ago and if the consumer doesn't receive the check within the next couple of days, to contact him.
